The excessive usage is noticeable on my (very fast) nvme SSD as well. Don't want to even think about how it will run on a slower SSD or regular HD.
The problem is AVAST ANTIVIRUS for me! I have disabled It and the game now run perfectly at very High settings with my gtx1050ti !!!
Tried that, i have webroot. disabled it. still high disk usage, also turned off nvidia share, didnt seem to help.
Yes people have had problems with the game not launching because of avast, but this problem is not because of that, please dont just spam in peoples threads with unrelated fixes
I'd like to point out that I did not have this issue at launch, but started around the time of the patch. Interestingly, my wife's PC is not having any issues and we running similar hardware. I'll update this post with some comparisons between her system and mine as soon as I can.
well i learnd my lesson never buy ubisfot games at lunch EVER ! i got tricked alot.....watch dogs 1....the division...for honor...and now wildlands...im done with ubisofts games...
Same here, happened out of the blue after the game ran flawlessly days after the launch.Originally Posted by DrWhistler Go to original post
SSD FTW, this game doesn't like mech harddrives, how are those beautiful mountains meant to load quickly?
I've installed the game on both of my hard drives, and my SSD yet the problem persists. Nice try though.Originally Posted by BlivAK Go to original post
