Check the other recent threads, there are a bunch of helpful posts. Log out and back in to uPlay is the most common fix.

I can't play Midnight Circuit either. No amount of logging in and out helps. In the Village the 3 green lights blink, and when I tap to enter it seems as if it was my first time, although I got to play once when the event started. When I tap "Join", the game checks progress, after which I get "Can't connect to Midnight Circuit server, please try again later." In the Village the 3 green lights still blink.

The first week is ending soon and I only got 1 try.

I am having exactly the same problem. I get the green light flash then get one attempt at the race then I cannot connect again and get the same error message, yet it says I have 4 retries left.
I have tried resetting. And even created a ticket which gave me the same advice but still not working.
