Then you can't have played a lot of online games. People have been banned for afk'ing or otherwise gaming the system in online games since the earliest days of competitive online games. If you game the system in order to get rewards you didn't earn (even in games where that reward is only a higher rank number and has no further benefit) you can expect to be banned or at the very least receive an account wipe. That's life, cheat the system, get punished. Complain all you want about how unfair it is that someone else can just buy their steel to get good gear. That's their choice, they'd rather pay a bit of cash instead of putting in the time, if you won't do that you'll have to put in the time instead. Just like me, since I'm a broke student and have to spend my money on food and beer. And guess what, by the time I got my character to rep 3 I could get him all the gear he needed, and now that my second char is closing in on rep 3 as well I already have enough steel to fully kit that one out too, just from playing the game normally and doing orders. If you need to afk to get that xp and steel, well, odds are the gear won't help you out since you'll suck from not having played the character anyway.

I think that the people who complain the most on the forums about certain heroes being OP are these AFKers who haven't learned how to play their toon, and get owned whilst having 108 gear

Gotta love this immature logic: "I buy a game for X amount of my money, but I really don't want to play the game, I just want to get all the fancy things that other people get by actually playing the game." Uh, okay, how about you go apply at a corporation for a janitorial job, and then say "But I really don't want to work as a janitor, I want to stay home doing nothing and eventually get promoted to Corporate CEO. Aight?"

Kids these days... this is the same crap I heard at a restaurant, some college student said to his friend "I don't like this work system, like, they force you to work. I just want to work when I need money. Why should I work if I don't need money right now?"

If you want good gear, work for it like the rest of us. There's no justification for afking farming in any game, it's hilarious that people actually try to defend it lol...
