This problem is way so annoying, almost everyone has this crash or freeze or whatever, this need to release a hotfix quickly, it's impossible to play like that.

Firstly, sorry to hear that you're having issues with your game crashing!

There is a known issue at the moment with crashes in-game when your installation folder is on a non OS drive. If possible, could you try a fresh install of Uplay and the game on your OS drive? If this isn't possible, we recommend you to go the Ghost Recon Wildlands installation folder and run rungame.exe with administrator rights once.

I crash ever since the patch yesterday. This game is junk and useless at this point. was flawless until this patch. My friends are outleveling me now because I cannot play and my drive to play is quickly dwindling. This was my last chance at a ubi**** game. The division was a failure and the sad part was, this game was actually fun. Useless now.

Not working for me either. I have bought the game on Steam and Uplay but encounter the same issue on both platforms of the splash screen showing for a few seconds then disappearing with no message.

-I have tried verifying the integrity of all files from Steam and Uplay.
-I have installed the game on my os drive and one of the other internal drives in my computer while having Steam and Uplay already installed on the os drive.
-I tried repairing the directx, vc redists and EAC.
-I've tried launching the game through Steam, Uplay and both executables in the game folder when installed through Steam and Uplay.

I first bought the game through G2A.com in the form of a Steam Gift so I can't get a refund on that and apparently Uplay doesn't handle refunds the same way Steam does which means that I've spent $115 for 2 copies of the standard edition of the game and have gotten nothing to show for it. Hopefully there is a fix before "late March/ early April".

Edit: Figured that I would add my pc specs
    Win 10 Pro
    i7 4930k at 4.5GHz
    780ti
Samsung 840 evo - os drive
WD Caviar Black - the other internal drive I installed the game on
    16gb ram
    rampage iv black edition motherboard

Edit 2: Copying game files to my external hd that is partitioned as MBR. Turns out my other drives are all non MBR. Will report back shortly.

Update: Copying the game files and installing Uplay to my MBR partitioned hd did not fix the problem. Still worth a shot for others since there were quite a few responses saying it worked.
