Damage reduction through Vest´s | Forums

Sorry for the short question, I couldn´t find anything in the forums to this. But do different vest´s like the heavy IBA reduce damage?
I know that Ghille suits do not increase your camoflage, but I heared it from a colegue and I am not sure, if this is realy true.

Clothing and suits do increase your camoflage, they make it harder for enemy to detect you especially if there is no/low light. I read this somewhere i dont remember if its 100% correct.
But im pretty sure vests do not change yor toughness.

Nah, I don't believe they have any impact on your toughness, besides making you look tough

Your clothing and accessories are 100% cosmetic. They do not affect your health, armor, or visibility in any way as far as I've been told.

im pretty sure this is all false.
clothing is cosmetic only. this is not MGSV.

in order to increase how much damage you can take you need to unlock the proper skill.
