Unidad are annoying and make no sense

Lets start with the adv suppressor simply put it really doesn't work one bit. The description says damage reduction is removed from suppressor. But yet in the end it still takes like 7 shots to kill an alerted guy with a suppressed gun but if I take it off I can 2 shot people even unidad.

So question is, is the adv suppressor bugged or just really that bad. If so then it needs to change I should not lose like 70% of my damage because I have a suppressor on.

And now the Unidad seriously They make no sense at all. They're supposed to be like police in this game they're essentially military the good guys. So my question is why in the world do they attack on sight. That absolutely makes no sense at all and is beyond stupid.

Unidad should only show up when you do something bad like kill civilians or something like that. But when I'm fighting the cartel and like 7 unidad units come in and start blasting me away its just dumb. Why in the world do I have to fight unidad and cartel members.

Its really stupid that they also ignore the cartel and tolerate them even when you see cartel members holding civilians at gun point but meanwhile I cant even walk down the street without them blasting me away with the stupid mini gun.

My god you are slow. Do some research on the factions! I haven't even started playing yet, and I can tell you that the Cartel and UNIDAD made a deal with each other. The cartel isn't large enough to police the entire country and run their organization, so they made a deal with UNIDAD. They police the country, keep civies in check, control the borders, and look the other way, and in return the cartel keeps cocaine flowing out of the country. Two minutes of research on the web would have revealed this.

So you're a member of a militarized police force in a 2nd world country, working in 3rd world conditions. You're job is to provide heavy support to local law enforcement who are facing a serious criminal invasion and problem.

You're entire organization is extremely corrupt and things like abusing the population and striking deals with criminals is common place.

You see a bunch of heavily armed guys walking past you without any kind of ID or prior notice.

    ...

    What do you do?

That should answer your question about what the Unidad attack you on sight.
