GRN and Task Forces are really cool systems to have and use along side Wildlands and/or other GR titles. A lot of the heavy lifting of community organization and communication are basically handled by these services. My task force has grown to over 50 people and it has been really nice to be able to track everyone's activity and see how people are playing.
There are a few things that I think would be nice to see come to GRN that, from a TF Leaders perspective, can potentially make the system better.
- First, would be to have an additional title or titles other than member, officer, and leader. Maybe like a sergeant or something that would be a suitable fit between member and officer. The differences between an officer and the leader are far less than the member and officer. I have lots of members that are suitable for a title higher than member but are not quite at the point where I could make them an officer.
- Second, would be to allow browsing of all the task forces that have been created. The search function requires that I have an idea of something that I want to search for when looking for players or task forces. Having this available would allow a couple things. TF's would have a way to seek out each other to further grow and connect the communities. Not to mention Average Ghost Joe would be able to see all that is available to them in regards to recruiting task forces.
- Third, being able to see all my in-game stats and play style are really nice, and are great ways to represent a player to others. However, the visual representation of the player in-game is non existent. Being able to see how my character and others look in-game on the ghost profile would add more value and appeal to the profile page.
- Fourth, being able to link a discord server or any other VoIP client to the task force profile page the same way you link social media profiles to your ghost profile.
And that's it. Again, everything as it is offers a lot and it is a great addition. Take this as food for thought. I'd be interested in hearing what others have to add. Cheers!
I like all of the above suggestions that point out and make.
I would also like to see something like this type of forum attached to our task force page where members could coordinate, discuss, among the task force not the entire game as it is here. Something were we can do more than a brief intro, message of day, and members would be able to respond.
