Ghosts Constantly Repeating The Same Dialog | Forums

Every time I Log on, Fast Travel, Die or just randomly after some amount of time.
The ghosts will repeat the same exact thing. It's getting to the point where I don't even want to play the game anymore.
Restarting the game doesn't fix the bug either..
This needs to be looked into asap.

Actually, im sure he had high hopes for this game. And from what I'm piecing together got understandably sour towards Ubisoft after they ignored every bit of feedback from the closed beta for two whole years - and released a unfinished, buggy, rubbish game.

Can you blame him? It's called being tired of Ubisoft's crap.

I've always criticized the game when need be.
I also hate the radios in this game.
The difference between you and me, I don't complain about pointless game mechanics .
I complain about bugs in the game that shouldn't be there.
You've complained about every aspect of this game.

What am I doing here? Battling for a better game even if fanbois like you do not appreciate the fact that w/o me and people that think with their own brains, you would still be playing games on Dial-Up or at 800x600 res but you don't need to thank me... not just yet anyways as the game is still broken, even more now with the new patches.

This is what happens when you bury your head in the sand instead of speaking your mind and demanding a better game. Yes, demanding is the correct word because you are paying with your hard earned money. Well, at least I am, if you are given those games I guess you have to take what you get.

But you know what? good for you that you are starting to think with your brains instead of letting others tell you what is good and bad... at least you are voicing your opinions and this will eventually help everybody and the industry will bring us a better game.

"Hey, the driving sucks, fix it.. Hey the Flying sucks, fix it.. Hey the AI is dumb, fix it.. Hey the stealth is bad, fix it... Hey the gunplay is awful, fix it.."

The point is those are gameplay mechanics that ARE NOT BROKEN, you just don't like them...
When it comes to the radios, there is a very good reason as to why there should be a slider for the sound..
And guess what, I bet they do put a slider in the game, because I've actually talked to Ubi Community Representatives personally.
Going back to the gameplay, you've actually proved my point that you complain about gameplay mechanics that are already part of the game & and you don't complain about bugs that are not meant to be in the game..
If you played any of the betas, didn't like the mechanics or feel, and still bought the game. Then you're a very silly person.

I have not paid for the game, and you would be right... it would be extremely silly of me to have done so. What was your excuse? I remember people complaining about the radios and voice overs after the CB and even the OB.

I found a way to turn the vehicle radios off but never found a way to get rid of the other ones.

If you think that those are gameplay mechanics that ARE NOT BROKEN but that voice overs and radios are then I feel even more sorry for you because then you don't know what an actual Tactical Shooter game should be... I am speaking strictly from a Solo Gameplay point of view.

That they are already part of the game does not equal that they are good or not broken, that is exactly my point and you are missing it... the radios and voice over are also part of the game, are they not? or they came only after final release.

Instead of you having to deal with broken ai and vehicles, you should be talking to your community friend to see if those things can also be fixed soon-ish rather than after you have taken your game to swap for something else... you might get to enjoy another walkthrough. Hell, you may even enjoy it even more playing the game the way it was meant to be.

As other games have done these mechanics much, much more efficiently (ie: they work), we have a baseline as to what to expect. Since these mechanics work, we've set a standard.

Anything short (or far short in this case) of this standard is indeed broken.

With your rationale, there are no games with broken mechanics. You just "don't like them." Do you actually believe this?

The reason we want so many gameplay mechanics fixed is because they are Years and years behind the standard we've set in other (Better games). Capiche?

You keep going back to radios for some reason.
The reason the radios are a problem, is not for the average individual who plays the game. It's for Youtubers and Streamers who play this game.
If you have recorded music on this game you will get a copyright claim which could lead to legal action against you. So being able to turn it off is a good thing for everyone. Not just people who think it's annoying.
And yes the repeating dialog is a bug as it wasn't in any of the betas. If you're confused, I'm not talking about the random stories that the Ghosts talk about. I'm talking about an actual repeating dialog.
I'm also sorry to inform you that you're wrong about the AI and Vehicles being broken.. They're just simply not. If you don't like something it doesn't mean it's broken. You can't just "fix" things like that, it's not a bug or a broken system.. You'd have to literally rework the game, it was too late to fix that stuff even when the Closed Beta hit.
Your unrealistic visions for this game will never come to life.
It's weird that you even play the game if you didn't like the betas.
Maybe you actually thought that they could fix core gameplay features to meet your needs, in that case I feel sorry for you.
I'd suggest that you don't play the game anymore, this isn't the game you want.
