Same thing the Division, sure it may not affect your offline play, but take your hacked, god rolled gear online, you now have a build that surpasses RNG that no one else will be able to achieve, except if a dev hand you those items with those rolls.. And like I mentioned, you can just "turn off the hacks" right before you go online, and no one will ever know, because they are not gonna check.

There will be no point in playing this game when Division 2 or maybe even 3 will be out. Support for it will cease, like what we are starting to see. They will not add anything new. You'll pretty much be playing a Minecraft mod.
Who said, you'd be able to go online when they shut the servers off?! I think this is where your getting confused...

Servers go down permanently, you will not be bringing anything back "online" to anyone else's Matchmaking/PvP/Online Session.

But then if that's the case then what about people like me who hasn't got that kind of money to buy games straight away because they have other responsibilities to pay for first and still want to play a Division game, is it just the case of "screw you, the servers have gone down and you can't play till you fork out another £45 to play Division 2"?

If they offer this game up for free Xbox Live Gold is one example, it will infuse tremendous new life into it and the servers can be packed for a another year

    I agree bud...sounds like a wonderful Idea.

I would love to see insta Q's due to overpopulation...

I don't want to see this game get shut down, and/or go into an Offline Mode.

All I'm saying is IF they shut down the servers, allow us to play it offline.

Like I said, by the time the servers shut down, you'll have the Division 2 or even 3, or even the franchise will be no more.

What was stopping you from buying the Division 1, then?

    God you're thick skulled.
Hacks in an offline single player game? So what? Who would care?

We're talking about when there is no more Division online. That day is coming fast.
Would you rather it be playable for anyone that wants to play single player or just one day the devs tell you to just uninstall it. It no longer exists?

I can think of a few older MP games that have a server client... that are still running thanks to that fact, long after the company that made them gave up..

    Diablo II
    Freelancer

And if you see what those community's were able to achieve via mods .. all by themselves.. and for the most part somewhat blindly stumbling through the code (freelancer) you see there is an actual option for such things.. it's just that game company's are scrooges these days (thanks to the DLC generation, killing off most modding) and when it's over it's over.

I have watched them build in this game... there's a few good/long vids on that.. that's something i could happily do for a long time, if some of us were free to use those tools at our leisure .. there wouldn't be a problem with 'content'.. there's be mods coming out every second week.. I'd even switch to PC and buy a rig just for this..

We'd have actual community's.. not this crapfight..
But alas.. im living in the past when folks actually cared about anything other than their profit margins...

Nah, OP said "this" game. Not the the possible sequels. It's right in the OP.

You're telling me you're gonna be playing Division 1 instead of the sequels with probably everything you've wanted the original game to have?

How long do you think that will take Murph?

And some people might be playing TD1 4 - 5 years from now, If they allow an Offline Mode.

Its a simple concept, one that doesn't require an argument, debate, or trolling... very, very, simple for anyone to undertand whats implied in my OP...
