Dear Massive/UBI,
Please make this game with an offline feature.
We can all tell this game's population will die down so low that Matchmaking will be near impossible.
So before you completely shut servers all the way down and take away the game for us who still enjoy it, make it so we can offline.
Thanks,
-Another Agent.
I put this in the Marco bail thread
Best thing the devs can do to this game before they turn off the servers is implement an offline mode and have the whole thing playable so people can still play all of it and even some that might want to try it can purchase and play it.

You're gonna have to go online to update the game.Originally Posted by i3ig Gun Go to original post
You're limiting the amount of activities you'll be able to do or people are just gonna beg for them to "nerf" Incursions and Legendary. You can't even run Stolen Signal or Dragon's Nest by yourself. Probably not even 1.6 Falcon Lost. Damn sure not about to do 1.6 Clear Sky solo.
You're inviting hacks. So when it's time to update the game, you have the potential of running into hacked builds.
A lot of things in the game is server side, thus requiring a server / internet connection, for example: updating the game.
Well it's either (offline mode ) or no game at all once the servers are shut down.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post

The game is running just well enough it could stand alone in an offline format.Originally Posted by Merphee Go to original post
Hacking wont be an issue if your playing the game offline... and any patches would most likely null those addons/hacks out.
Offline Mode would take the game in its current state (which is still very much playable) and just remove the matchmaking functions, and allow people to play the game without an internet connection.
I still don't understand why you wouldn't want this... just like Blue said, its either offline, or no game at all? how is that even fair for those who really enjoy it?
I'm curious:Originally Posted by Commander-Blue Go to original post
Is there an online only game out there with an offline mode with people still playing after the developers have shut down the actual servers?
