This is the worst, it will make me quit in the future if they stay at their "we ignore this **** since day one" - policy

Nothing is worse as dying to a ****ing flicker bug....

The thing is, why has stuff like this even be discussed by the community? They could have been bothered to do the bare minimum to begin with by making 3 animations and 3 attack directions for zone attacks.

The move list for heroes is pathetic anyway. It would have more depth with a zone attack able to come from each direction and we wouldn`t even talk about it since it would just be a different kind of attack at least playing by the rules.
Could be left light, left heavy, left zone .....you block it / parry it or you don`t. DONE! Better game - no exploitative !"%5

Nah the direction is totally fine. The problem is that the window to input both buttons are to big. It should be hitting both or its your fault not hitting it right. This game is literally unplayable with this indicator glitch.

You can clearly see that it's not a bug. They even made own animations just for that switching. Do you usually fully animate your bugs on purpose?

Ok, so it's not a bug. Wouldn't you argue then that it's imbalanced on the verge of broken, considering the differance in attack and change stance speeds? I guess it would be fine if all the zone attacks were slow so you have time to react, but right now it's just cheap and unfair.

I think that UBI must fix it for sure... Firs the game was designed - to all characters have some strong and weak spots... But in realy huge % of times some characters are weaker then other for no rerason ! For example light atack of a rider - are pretty slow - but it deal extrimaly low damage ? And got no any good folowups? So WTF is that ? For wich reason this atack must be such low damage+speed ???
I guess that 2-handed characters got a slow stance speed - because they have more longer distance to throw atacks... but no metter from wich distance u throw - they anyway can parry u, so such huge characters with low speed of guard stance becomes just a peace of meat ! U just comes to them forward and kill like a big mamont ! I think developers should think about it for sure.
+ some attacks of some characters are faster and deal more damage, and some are extremaly slow - and do extremely low damage. I mean wtf is this. The balance should be - the slower attack - deal more, and faster - deal less, cuss u just put less strg into it.

You can't stop any kara-cancel "bugs", you just cant'. It's impossible to do so without making the game unworkable. How do you "fix" the indicators? Tell me, please. Use actual logic.

If you make the indicator come too late, then you can't properly parry; if you make the indicators come earlier into the attack (that's how it is now), then you give it a chance to flash before someone changes the input to something else. That's the actual logic behind it. HOW do you change it? Don't hurt yourself, give it time and think it through. ROFL... You think you can solve a 30 years old fighting game design issue with your laypeople brains?

If you argument is "this **** is too hard, make it easier for my slow reaction", that's fine. We will need a BIGGER input buffer so Kara-cancel can be available to you as well. That might be a proper complaint if you can beg hard enough. Otherwise, good luck solving the 30 years old fighting game feature of input buffer. You are such a special snowflake, I am certain Ubisoft will revent the entire wheel and make it square JUST for you... lol...
All of this layman here layman there doesn't make much sense.
You just change the value of the buffer. This isn't a game with tons of inputs like "usual" fightning games. This is more about timing than complex execution.
Calculations are also done client side, there's no need to take lag into consideration so the values can be absolute (and tested for balance).

Seems far from unfixable, if it is not intended.

    look this is rediculous:

This is my main problem with lawbringer, I can't block light attacks. Even attacks by a warlord, but especially valkyrie and PK just go right around me. My reaction time is fine, but the time it takes to switch over, coupled with the fact that Lawbringer is supposed to be a defensive hero makes him utterly useless on the battlefield. Conqueror switches guard 4 times as fast, hits almost as hard, and has just as much knockback. LB definitely needs a buff, as do all 2 handed heroes.
