I mean...invisible convoys, invisible enemies, invisible pickups...
and if that is not enough, on top of that there is a delay when using explosives.
just now i had to stop a truck for a mission, interogate the driver.
well...i stopped the truck with my emp, but the cabin was empty.
i could even sit in the drivers seat...
when exiting the truck again, the driver spawned 500m away, in the middle of the road.
or how about not working grenades? wanted to blow up a door for the vehicle drop missions...nothing happened.
2 minutes later when i was allready done with that mission the grenade blew up.
or drones? payloads that are just not triggering, cooldowns that are not working, locking you from using drones, binoculars and those things.
Grenade launchers? sure, you fire them, the rifle shoots a normal bullet and a few seconds later the grenade flies out. nothing happens. no explosion. seconds or even minutes later they finally explode.
Or what about Drone Jammers, Generators and whatnot that are not counting as "destroyed" because there is a bugged delay sometimes?
Blowing up cars that are "empty" and a few minutes later magically the passengers spawn outside to shoot you?
Bahaha classic Ubisoft. Ever play Rainbow Six Vegas? The "tactical shooter" that didn't spawn enemies at the start of the round? Instead spawned them all around you as you progressed. So you chave could clear an area then "surprise!" Tangos spawn there.Originally Posted by LazerusKI Go to original post
.... a freshly released game should not have bugs. The fact that you think the opposite is very sad.Originally Posted by jeffjordan93 Go to original post
You're either very new to video games, or mainly play Ubisoft games where poor quality is commonplace.
People nowadays are so used to sh*t games (state of the game) at release + early accesses that they're totally fine with a game being very buggy (not unplayable but with a lot of bugs)...
How sad.
"Back in the days" when a game was released, it was everything you got, no update, no patch etc, and most of the time they worked alright.
You should not have to "wait for a few patches" to have a working game.. This is idiotic.
That statement is very Ironic as regardless of company, every game will be the buggiest on launch. Rarely do dlc make games worse than release day.Originally Posted by Gumavarie Go to original post
Here are a few examples, Battlefield 4 was bug central until a few patches in, GTA 5 have high crash rates in first few months, Dead Island had a potentially game breaking bug where you missed the important cut scene to exit the prologue phase regardless of how many times you died in that hallway. The list can go on and on.
My point is, every game upon release, regardless of who makes it, will have some big bugs that the devs and testers missed (due to various reasons) that usually get fixed after a few patches.
I wouldn't agree that all games are released with big bugs. Some bugs, yes. However this game suffers from game breaking enemy and friendly AI, Poor vehicle controls, bad ballistics, you name it. All fundamental gameplay elements that have been brought up since open Beta and ignored.Originally Posted by jeffjordan93 Go to original post
Releasing it in this state is why people are upset. These shouldn't need to be patched. They should have been rectified prior to release.
(Go play Horizon Zero Dawn. Another open world with arguably better graphics, runs flawlessly and i polished. Hardly any bugs. After playing that, you'll look at Ghost Recon in a different light).
