    Undecided

I'm currently in two minds about buying GR:W. The main reason being the inclusion of AI in solo and no option to remove them (not because people say they are bad but I just do not like having to rely on any AI in any game ever). Yes, friends and all that jazz, however, most of my friends aren't interested in shooters like this and the one who is (had many awesome sessions in SC:Blacklist with him) refuses to buy anymore Ubi games. He hasn't even activated his FREE copy of The Division he got with his GPU. So, I'm SOL there.

So, is finding co-op sessions easy? Are the sessions stable? Can you choose how many players to have in said session (from all the videos/streams/reviews I've seen, two people seems to the sweet spot, 3 at a push)?

Also, what is the performance like? I have an i7-4700k, Strix GTX 1070 8GB OC Edition with 16GB RAM so I should have no issues but I obviously haven't played the game yet.

I'm playing on the xbox.. but so far other then one time the weather went out of sync for us co-op has been pretty smooth no crashs or disconnects for us..

The AI has a hold command.. so you can always set them on hold out side an objective on hold as you go in.. its a hassle but that's one way to solo with out the AI back up.

As far as squad size.. 2 man teams are just easy to coordinate.. but we have done 4 man group and split in to 2 man teams.. with this buddy system we do the objective with one of us over all leading.. we play on extreme with limited hud so it makes the game more tactical. So we have a cover team and a infiltration team and it works fine.. now we are a pre made though.. not sure how that would work with a pug.. also there is a issue with the fact the host does not dictate the difficulty.. so you maybe playing on extreme.. and random can come in and be playing on normal and do to that he can be run and gunning and being loud because he isn't going to be getting as hurt by weapons as much as you would be being on extreme... so you may want to try to find like minded players to group with.

OK, thanks for the info. I really want to play this game. To start with limited weaponry and gather through exploration and killing bad guys (that aren't bullet sponges like The Division)...it's the kind of mindless fun I want every now and then. I don't care about story (Skyrim main quests were mediocre but I didn't play it for story I played it to explore and get better loot and I played Skyrim for over 1,000 hours). So I might just get GR:W and hope the AI don't ruin the stealthy/sniper type gameplay I like.

If you have waited this long, might as well wait a few more weeks... can't say much about Co-Op because I am a Solo/single player but I am sure if you search, you will find the answers you are looking for... more so being a PC player.

So far, the patches are fixing bugs that shouldn't be at release, you know, normal behavior for publishers now a days... check patch notes on Technical forums.

AI teammates are a crap-shoot really, perhaps you should search for a post made by Cortexian, a moderator and one of the people who were invited to Paris to give feedback and has played the Single game even before it was released to the public. He expresses that Teammates are horrendous so I am also waiting for those patches to hopefully fix the ai. I don't like to Micro-Manage every move but if I am given teammates, I do want to manage them my way and not as a dead blob like they are now.

Your rig is much better than mine so you shouldn't have performance problems, at least not in Single/Offline mode but there are posts with people still having issues.

PC controls (KB+M) are finicky at best, it took 3 to 4 times to save my key bindings on the CB & OB and I doubt those have been fixed for release as some people are still claiming having issues... your miles may very here.

Driving/flying was horrendous on KB+M and I hate controllers so I am also waiting to see if they will tweak this on a future patch, more so because you do a Lot of driving and flying on this game... again, your miles may vary here.

its been pretty fun playing.. co-op has been a blast.. on extreme.. you can go from everything is fine and then all hell breaks out do to one random event.. but when a plan works out and its a perfect op its pretty good feeling. Ya its nice to have a game that's looks as nice as the division but no bullet sponges.
