Getting ganked on every visit by multi groups or even 4 man groups of rogues is what was wrong with it.
I know you claim to only go after rogues and they were plenty...how do you suppose they all became rogue? By ganking players not interested in PvP.

MY tears? Hahaha you sound pretty salty buddy. I enjoy the pvp, you act like i just kill people when its 4v1. I mean i do that too, but ill also walk up when the whole server is congregated on a street corner and start shooting just to start ****. Im sorry you run into the dz solo, or arent that good and get rolled over, but thats on you man.

The DZ is empty because the game offered nothing for PVE players (the life and blood of the game) If UBI had offered more to do in the LZ people would have stuck around ... but nope nothing .... and nothing planned for year 2 other that a big Fcuk you and a middle finger.... so what have PVE players done ... gone .... gone to wildlands and what ever is left will go to ME when that released.
I doubt the servers will last much longer now , the gankers killed the game .... not PVP or PVE , but the asshats , well done you all , give your self a clap now 😃
Just to point out I am proper gutted TD is in this state ... I love this game .... I get limited time to play , I work hard and I have a family so my game time is spent on what I enjoy .... and sadly that wasn't TD , I held out for LS and 1.6 .... but it brought nothing to my table ....
I will continue to keep an eye on SOTG and the forums in the vain hope some dev top brass wake up and change their mind.

I'm not being salty, I'm trying to help you understand why people are not in the dz anymore. And why your whining about it is so delicious to the people who got ganked in there. Do you understand the principle of cause and effect? We have been telling Massive and the griefers for a year now that:
1: If pvpers continued to camp checkpoints, everyone who doesn't want to get ganked would leave
2: If teams continued to gank solos then clap over them, people would refuse to enter the dz
3: If pvpers continued to grief new lvl 30 players over and over, those players would refuse to enter the dz.
4: As long as it was acceptable for players to try to ruin someone's day just because the dz was supposed to be a lawless area, most people would stay out of the dz.
We have been called crybabies, snowflakes, whiners for suggesting that we would not go into the dz as long as the game favored rogues.
Now we see pvpers whining and crying about an empty dz and you have no fricken clue that is has been the actions of the griefers and gankers that have created your empty dz. it is irony of Biblical proportions.

I find it ironic that people that are the gankers consider themselves PVP players......really.......most of the Rogues I come accross walk up to you all nice wait and see if you are a real threat then shoot you in the back when you are distracted attacking something else. I have lost count the number of times I have been shot in the back or by someone that is hidden.
If the DZ was set up that when real PVP players go in the DZ and you plan to go Rogue then you should have a flag or indicator set on you when you go in. When you go in then people will at least have a chance to know you are going to attack and are an enemy rather than letting you hide behind your intention until somesone's back is turned.
Truthfully I haven't seen that many real PVP players in this game just a lot of gankers and that has made the game very toxic. If you want real PVP why not go play an outright PVP game? The way I see it a lot of the so called PVP players wouldn't last 2 mins in a real PVP game where everyone knows from the outset who the real enemy is!
