Hey guys,

My eac Install himself over and over every 5 min which crashing my game.

Eventviewer:

A service was installed in the system.

Service Name: EasyAntiCheat
Service File Name: C:\Windows\system32\EasyAntiCheat.exe
Service Type: user mode service
Service Start Type: demand start
Service Account: LocalSystem

The Order goes like this:

when i start the game:

The EasyAntiCheat service entered the running state.

2. Second state:

A service was installed in the system.

Service Name: EasyAntiCheatSys
Service File Name: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\EasyAntiCheat.sys
Service Type: kernel mode driver
Service Start Type: demand start
Service Account:

3. third state:

The EasyAntiCheat service entered the stopped state. (Game Crash here)

Trying to:

1.Reinstall EAC + repair
2. delete EAC from system32 and reinstall
3. turn off the Anti virus
4. Checked that it's approved in the firewall.


No idea what to do....................HELP Ubisoft

have you tried running rungame.exe as admin?

EasyAntiCheat should and would go in stop state when game closes, that also means crashes.
but there should be no reason for it to keep installing the services every 5 mins, so it could be related to permissions, try giving run as administrator on rungame.exe a go.

Ofc i've tried to run it as Admin.

I am having the exact same problem. Game crashes every few minutes. This has been going on since the day of update 8.

Event viewer shows "The EasyAntiCheat service entered the stopped state." at the very moment the game crashes to desktop. I've tried uninstalling EasyAntiCheat, and repairing it. Nothing helps.

The game is literally in an unplayable state now. I've tried sending two emails to Ubi support, but no replies. Why is this not being addressed in a proper manner? You expect your customers to just sit endlessly and wait for the problem to magically go away?

Let the players decide for themselves if they want this anticheat feature enabled - especially when the anticheat is outsourced to an external developer that clearly is not able to make a stable and robust design. I only play with close friends anyway, so cheating is not an issue. I dont want to be forced to run even more buggy software on my system to play the game I paid (a lot of money) for.
