Hello, I just installed wildlands, and as soon as I load in, and get to the screen where you can adjust your gamma settings, a message box pops up saying my client is outdated. Immediately after I click "ok" it closes my game.
The box told me to come here for support, and to check the integrity of my game cache, which I did.
Any solutions would be much appreciated, hopefully, it won't involve re-downloading the game because that took a hell of a long time.

Have you removed all previous versions of the game from your PC?
Could you try deleting the following files from your Wildlands folder then verifying game files a few times through Uplay / Steam?
events.xml
Uyuni.grw
VersionDescription.ini
NvGsa.x64.dll

I am having the same issue and the only file that is present is the Uyuni.grw. How many times should we verify? Every time it verifies thus far it says it is making changes/filling in for corrupted data but I do not see any new or updated files in the directory.Originally Posted by Ubi-Rufus Go to original post

Same here ... every time i´ll check the cache with steam it reloads 24 GB and still not working then with that error the game shall be outdated!

After 4x verifying and loading 25 Gb the game works.
I was able to play yesterday evening for 2-3 hours.
Today i start the game and what shall i tell ya ... client outdated ! Not funny !!!!
