Please fix the connection issues. that hundreds of people are have. its not the gammers fault. we shouldnt be responsable for opening ports. and everything else. No other game i own requires that they all connect just fine. and i own over 20 games. Nat partical connection. open port sometimes
Same with me, Im on PS4 and even had problems with the beta. Dont know what i was thinking when i decided to spend 100 bucks on a game i cant even play with my team 95% of the time. I have to unplug this change this port blah blah blah....well what if i have done all that stuff and still is always NAT STATUS OFFLINE, STRICT, or even at times when it say moderate or open i cant join. It times out saying unavailable. Sad part is, I was the one on my Division team that convinced everyone to get the game and im the only one having the problem.
These disconnection issues are a joke. Just played a mission to rescue El Celebri or whatever his name is (guy who designs subs). Tailed him, had a wonderful mission and got him on a chopper. Just touching down at the landing zone and the game kicked me out to the title screen with some network disconnection notice. Went back in, to be put back at the start of the mission. I wouldn't mind but I am playing 'Single Player', this 'always on' internet connection is a total bag of garbage. Especially if something like Xbox Live is having issues as well as the Uplay servers etc. Ubisoft need to rethink this because you are at the mercy of Ubisoft server connections, then the Live (or PSN) connections and you are playing a single player game. It should have no impact.
I am also having the same issues with Assassins Creed Ezio collection, bang in the middle of a mission and lost connection to Ubisoft server. Kicked out of a mission, back to the start and and I am playing a single player game .... arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This is a game-breaking issue for me - if you can't guarantee the uptime of your Ubisoft servers and you can't get Microsoft/Sony to guarantee the quality of their services. Then remove the requirement for single player games to be connected at all times. Or at least sort it out so that if you are in the middle of a mission (not playing co-op) it doesn't boot you out of the game to the title screen.
Game has got worse for me. Now for some random reason after various connections/disconnections to the Ubisoft servers. It nows kicks me out of my Xbox Profile altogether. Total disconnection from Xbox Live. Almost sure it is down to the constant connects/disconnects to the Ubisoft servers happening in the background. Because I have played other games with connections to servers Mass Effect Andromeda - Borderlands etc - and yes after a couple of hours of single player gaming. I might get a disconnect from Gearsoft(2K)/EA servers message ... but that is it, nothing further happens. What you might expect some sort of timeout when not utilising their servers, but it doesn't boot me out of Xbox Live.
I don't get it all, my NAT status is Open. All ports required are open. Even tried my Xbox in the DMZ. Tried different DNS servers etc. Almost sure the constant retries to connect to Ubisoft servers is causing the problem. Wouldn't mind, but playing the game single player - don't want to play co-op. Tried setting my game settings to things like Invite Only - in the hope it would sort of switch of networking, but it doesn't. Have a suspicion that the more you fast travel, the more of a problem it is. Because each time you get asked about joining co-op. All in all fed up. Not even going to start on the Narco Road DLC - I mean what is it? Somebody at Ubisoft got a Monster Truck fetish?
