Few Questions regarding Co-OP | Forums

So I have just started playing and have a few questions regarding CO-OP

Is there in-game voice comms with other players or do you have to use a alt source like TeamSpeak ?

Do you start from scratch XP wise when you start playing with a group or does your campaign XP cross over ?

are there "clans" or is it just your friends list and random join you play with ?

I am sure I will have more questions but this is all I can think of ATM.. thanks in advance.

Also,, I have a XP booster I got when I bought the game,, how do I use it? where do I find it
