this is why developers should not release games before they are complete.
today they released the new update which was 2.4gigs
after updating all my progress was deleted.
this is the conversation that took place with customer service

basically was playing with friends and was notified of an update, went ahead and closed out, updated the game, go back in and it says New Game, all my previous data was deleted...im actually like heartbroken
i took the day off work to play this game...and put a decent amount of effort into it

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately there is no way to recover a save file if it becomes lost or corrupted. The only thing to be done is to start the game again. One thing we can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. I will send instructions to your email on how to make sure your save file doesn't get corrupt again.

everything i have done up to this point is lost
because you guys had an update
which corrupted my game?
and now its my fault
your telling me i cant get my saved data back, and im expected just to grind 14 levels again?
i put 12 hours straight gameplay into this game since i got it.

im more than upset, i never should have wasted my time and money on this game thats still not halfway finished.
