Hi Team Ubi:
I play a "realism" style with two Marines. We find the game to be excellent, but is missing a few key features that would really add to the realism factor of the game. Here are some suggestions that we have collaboratively come up with to make this game even more enjoyable than it already is. I will add to this list periodically. Thanks for reading!
1. Dedicated breaching charges for doors. We cannot currently use the proper stacking up technique to clear sealed buildings.
2. Fast roping (rappelling ) from helicopters. This would allow realistic insertion tactics onto rooftops as well as quickly facilitate hot insertions into a combat zone.
3. C4 currently does not damage walls or even chain link fences. C4 should blast a hole into concrete walls and demolish chain link fences to allow for the creation of alternate points of entry.
4. Strengthen Infantry Fighting Vehicles (APC) and add a dedicated anti-armor weapon such as the RPG-7 and AT-4.
5. Armed helicopters should also have countermeasures such as chaff and flares to help dodge anti-aircraft missiles. Making it harder to evade the missiles while adding this feature would add to the realism.
Thanks again for reading!
Don't forget being able to roll left and right while prone and LOOK AT A DAMN WATCH TO SEE WHAT TIME IT IS. Fastroping would be good but would require a decent amount of Dev time (an animatior's hell.... characters interacting with a physics based object while another player moves the object it's mounted to....::shivers::
I hear you buddy. I sympathize with the devs and the challenges they face to add things, and yes to the watch and rolling left and right from the prone position.Originally Posted by o KEVLAR o Go to original post
