Like many of you I was missing the season pass from my physical copy of the gold edition (Purchased from gamestop) I provided Ubi support with all the screen shots, and checked back daily on what the status was. Today I spoke with Derek C and he explained that the support has no new information about correcting the issue. However I could contact Game stop and ask them to return the game as defective and give me either my money back or a digital code for the Gold edition. I spoke with my local Gamestop who then had my contact their support and I was on hold for over an hour with someone who then just transferred me back to the queue. Hung up and called Gamestop back and explained what had happened. He told me to go ahead and come on up to the store bring the receipt and the game and he would just deem the game defective and give me a code for the digital gold edition. Brought the code home and i'm not currently installing the game. It now says that I have purchased the season pass with the digital code given..... So anyone out there who bought the game from gamestop (I think Amazon is doing this as well ) Just explained to them what the situation is and they may work with you. I would recommend being polite.

Ubi: Cool. So what they need to replace is the season pass code for you, which is not working correctly out of the box.
Me:So if I'm understanding you correctly. YOu want me to take my receipt back to gamestop tell them the code in the box didn't give me the season pass and per UBisoft they need to give me a new season pass code? I don't see how that will work since it isn't game stops issue that the code is broken but they open in 3 minutes I'll call them first and ask them
Right. However, since it is an out-of-box defect, it should lead to them correcting it. A phone call is the correct choice IMO as well. Just explain the issue; the game disc works, but the season pass code provided does not work, and you'd like another one (which Ubisoft cannot provide unless purchased via Uplay)
TL: DR : Ubi chat support told me to take game back to gamestop and explain it's defective. I asked for a digital code or my money back and they gave me the digital code and marked the game as defective.
