    Play as Captains

Alright, I am going to reboot this thread as I guess I was too vague in the original post.

    Basically I was thinking.

Captains are really well developed and designed. I love the look of the Knight Captain, and the Samurai Captain, and the Vik- I just realised I liked them all as I was typing, wow.

Anyway, I'd love to play as them and I had an idea. What about this?

An 'Optional Free DLC'? Sound good? (This way people who don't want access to these heroes, well, don't (They'll still face them in matches though))

Basically, it will be like the Season pass, granting you access to heroes as they come out, ONLY...

It grants instant access to the available Captains in the game as playable characters! I'm pretty sure there are a couple different Captain types, but the main ones are these 3, if I'm not mistaken:

    Knight Captain:

    Samurai Captain:

    Viking Captain:

The Captains are way more simpler to play than even the Vanguards, you can clearly see it when fighting them. But thankfully they have the essentials and could be an even better starting character! When I first played For Honor (Alpha, but only for like a couple hours), I was amazed by the Warden and wanted to try him/her, and apparently they were the easiest class to learn (they are Vanguards), but even then I found it difficult.

They should be moderately balanced, and should be able to play ALL ROLES, but have no special combos or anything similar. They are practically the 'Real All-Rounder Class'. The Attack speed should be somewhere in between all characters, same with Defense, Movement Speed, etc.

Customization I guess could be the same as the other heroes, so it'll distinguish you from the AI crowd...

Anything else I missed, basically port it from AI to Player, and that should be fine (like Battle Cries, emotes, etc...).

Let me know what you all think!
