Patching on pc is always easier due to Microsoft and sony certification process. It has been this way since forever and it won't change.
If you do not like this, you need to switch to pc.

Like posters above stated console patchs have a 1 to 2 week verification process through sony/ms.

Ubisofts only choice would be to sit on the pc patch and wait for console verification. Which doesn't make alot of sense.

It's like this in every game.

Also, if you actually read the patch notes, the majority of improvements are for all platforms, the PC only fixes are mostly technical.

Sorry. Yeah, I guess it may be a bit more difficult to detect on consoles, as I guess the PC update will be trying to detect keystroke macros that a lot of decent keyboards can set-up. Though I am no developer by any stretch of the imagination, so no idea what it takes lol

According to UBI's notes about today's updates, "improved AFK detection" is only being added to the PC versions of For Honor!


Why do PC players get improvements that console players do not? Did PC players pay more for the game than did Console players?


Will Console players always be a secondary consideration to UBI when improving flawed aspects of its designs?

This was missed in the patch notes, so I had to check on it. To answer your question, this will also be available for console, but at a later time. Consoles aren't a secondary consideration, but there is a bit more involved in patching. We'll keep everyone updated on the timing. The maintenance for today has been completed, so the changes and new content should already be available for everyone on all platforms.
