You're missing the point completely. It's not about being able to block, it's about that the Lawbringer only needs to block once. Are you really this dense?

What do you do after you've blocked a light attack on a Raider? A) Dodge back or B) Block the next attack. On a Lawbringer you can shove. I can block about 33% of the Light attacks coming my way from the PK. That means on the Lawbringer, worst case scenario I take 2 hits and then I shove her, grab her, throw her into a wall and hit her with a side heavy dealing more damage than the two attacks she did to me. On a Raider that battle is a lot more uphill.

I think they wanted some characters to be forced to parry the first hit or get put in a bad situation.

Dont know if this is the right for topic to rant about this...

BUT How the **** is it possible to a big soldier parry guy infront of him, then turn in a nanosecond and parry that, and again the nanosecond and parry... Nobody, I mean NOBODY is that fast with a big weapon to parry incoming attacks from rear and front, how the **** he even would know if someone in the back is about to swing flail or mace etc.? (Yeah, well maybe sound would tell, tho battlefields tend to be kinda noisy)

Hope they fix this, not saying that this game is a simulator for fighting with medieval weapons, but that **** is just utter ********. Parry, turn and parry, turn and parry, turn and parry. ****ing Bruce Lee combined to Muhammed Ali with accuracy of a... something accurate stuff.

I agree, though, for balance purposes, everyone should have the same guard change speed. Raider and Lawbringer are really ****ed over.
This is why the Yuan Dynasty (Genghis Khan) wiped the floor with traditionally armored knights? Armor is only good in CERTAIN situations. If your opponent can dance around you and strike at you with impunity cause you are so freaking slow, you will lose. This is why the lighter and faster Mongolian riders were able to torn apart the HEAVILY armored knights. They made jokes out of these slow moving targets. It's actually very similar to For Honor where Peacekeeper just humiliates slower opponents.
