    Has anyone else heard this?

Now I'm not going crazy, or confusing it with something else, but for the last few days whenever I'm playing I can hear an odd noise in my earphones.

It's the sound that the seeker mines make as they roll towards you...and I can hear it constantly.

I know it sounds an odd thing to say.

I mean the literally rolling sound of the seekers, not any beeping or explosions, but the actual sound the make as they roll towards you.

I thought it was a seeker at first, obviously.

But I'm hearing it when I'm alone in an empty street, when I'm running, when I'm opening boxes etc...

I can't say for certain if it continues in safe houses or the BoO, or if it's even all the time, as I naturally have my focus on other stuff when in a gun fight.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

I heard something like that in the DZ the few days I played it last weekend. What I was hearing was the plastic protection outside buildings.

I get what you mean, like the flapping of the plastic sheets...but it wasn't that.

It's your stomach rumbling, stop playing and eat some food.

Have you been playing last stand recently? It might be ptsd from those damn one hit kill seekers. Just try not to punch your wife during a flashback.

Despite saying earlier it wasn't the plastic sheeting

You were right after all, it was the plastic sheeting used as protection on the DZ walls.

I went back in to the DZ earlier and was able to confirm you were right.

Nope, it's the sound of Seeker mines... The fact that every man and his dog is spamming them every 20 seconds, means you hear them constantly, especially while in Last Stand :P
