    Having major problems against Berzerkers

How are you supposed to fight them? The infinte amount of hits coming from all sides?
I have blocked most of the infinite chain, tried stepping to the side but the recoverytime on my Valk or LB is not enough.
I would suggest somekind of mechanic from this. A good Berzerker can chain up to 8-11 hits and I canīt simply do anything else than try to go for a parry or try to block them all (obviously not working).
Also why does it do 68dmg from a heavy when as an example the Valk who can spam hits as well simply does only 15,5dmg?
Not asking for a nerf, simply going for recoverytime or maybe not being able to chain more than 4 hits. Itīs bs to force someone to turtle just because you donīt have the time to parry or step aside.

Any thoughts on how I should counter it?
Donīt say roll away. It does not work, same goes for Shoulder-pin.

Outa curiosity what rep level is your acount? (it's what matchmaking is based on). Coz i'm rep 7 i do sometimes struggle with zerkers (not because of the infinite chain tho). It's just because the side dash ligths are EXTREEMLY fast and safe. Then again i'm not suuuuuuper familiar with zerkers they're probably my worst matchup across the board since the other classes i've done my reasearch and know what to expect at least. Whit a zerker i'm just "WHAT DO YOU DOOOOOO?!"

Alltough the infinite chain REALY shouldn't be a problem it's allways Light into Heavy (and i THINK it has to change side to, like the conqueror's infinite?). I get how the changing parry timing could throw you off but every second attack should be EASILY parryable. Also if they end the dance with a top heavy it does great bonus damage if noting else PARRY that. As a general note i'd say constantly feint heavy's into GBs . i don't know if this is just my imagination but the side dodge of the zerker just seems... better? faster certainly than orochi and PK so naturarly they kinda default to the side dash where i find PK will more often try to parry and orochis are more about GBs and BackDashes.

Nothing really new in what you wrote. I usually never hit a heavy unless itīs from a gb. my overall rep is 12. and I main a Valk. The roblem mostly comes from the parry window. I occasionally get one, the rest are still notthere, since im still recovering somehow from a blocked hit (my block, his hit) itīs moronic!

If you're on Eu timezone add me, i'd be curious to test it. Even if a hit staggers your character animation wise, the block is still block, no unblockable should remove the block / limit guard switching / makes followups unparryable.

Okay, I main the Berzerker and I have major trouble fighting against valkyries...so here's what works against me.
You have to unterstand that to pull off the infinite chain, every berzerker has to switch between light and heavy attacks.
The heavy attacks should be parriable, but the light ones will just bounce of your shield.
I'm not sure if the dauntless mechanic cancels that, but I rarely hit a valkyrie more than twice.
And since most Berzerkers try to switch it up, keeping your shield in one direction should automaticly block the attacks at some point.
I hope this helps a little.

i also struggled with Zerks. my suggestion?

Play one for a while. learn their weaknesses. go to custom match against lv3 AI Valk as the zerk and play until you're sure you have your **** down. then you'll know what you need to do as the valk. do a few more customs as the valk vs the zerk and see if you can replicate what worked.

i now know that any top attack in the infinite string is either a light or a finisher with both axes. if it's one axe i just let it hit and parry the next side heavy. if it's two i sidestep and punish. as for their sidestep spin slice, there's really no defense against it if they use it as a counter. if they just use it as an opener, you can block and punish with a GB or a light attack (depending on your character)

as a valk when i fight zerkers i usually keep my distance than leap in with w+space light, then follow up with the light chain, dodge back out and keep my distance. if we do get into the thick of it, keep the blocks going and wait for the stamina to drop. I do believe their stam reduced hits only come in if they make solid contact, not blocked. i could be wrong but thats how i understand it. or try a GB if you feel lucky. Zerkers are pretty predictable since all the damage is based on their chains. excluding that overhead heavy, god i love that attack. So keep the distance and jump in and out to do damage, stay more defensive when up close, and parry that overhead. It telegraphs a mile away so seeing it coming is easy to get the timing right

Ive struggled big time against zerks but lately ive done a little better. I main Warden and i usually keep distance and dodge back when they strike opening up a top light. Sometimes they get desperate and do the leaping overhead to close in but i parry or get the crushing counter. Distance seems to be the key.

Berserkers are hard to play. You can easily parry their heavy attacks and light attacks can be parried as well. If they do a lot of dodge attacks in response to your attack, just feint a heavy and parry their dodge attack - it's easy if you just practice a bit against a lvl 2 bot (lvl 3 won't work, because they don't fall for it easily).
