Now I have some questions :

1 Ds4tool is outdated if i'm right and some people says that inputmapper is better. Is it correct ?

2 I would like to use the steam wizard for my ds4 but when i copy the gamepad configuration (from official for honor steam controller) I get some issue with directions (char moves himself when my controller is down). So is there an official configuration on steam for Ds4 users ?

3 Can your share your whole personnal settings (gamepad with camera controls by Ark-07) with us please ?
Make sure you have the PS4 controller ticked in the main controller settings of big picture not for honors settings section they are seperate.

Its late for me so I will help you tomorrow, I also plan on trying inputmapper myself so I will get back to you on that. You dont need ds4 tool for the game or steam if your using a PS4 controller as its supported but with deadzone issues. For the base controller setup I used the PS4 template you can find through steam big picture go to for honor, then to controller configuration, browse configs, templates and then click on show other controller types. I choose the PS4 template named, "Gamepad with camera controls".

Also I didnt like the desktop function of the controller that steam adds so I removed those fucntions also, you can find that section from the main settings icon in big picture mode then go to base configurations and remove all the functions on the screen, you will need to choose none for some and remove for others. Also sounds like your controller is using the motion system for the controller if you use my setup this should'nt happen. But if you have a 360/PC controller following the steps Ive given and choosing a 360/PC template should work fine. Feel free too try the other templates see what works for you I wouldnt import anything from DS4.

Dont forget to turn off DS4 before using the steam controller system, let me know how you go I will go into further detail tomorrow.

I've been using a Dualshock 4 ever since the beta (as I did in other games such as Dark Souls 3, for instance) and I never noticed any issue.

    I'm using SCP Toolkit.
2 friends are using Xinput (if I'm not mistaken) with the same controller and the only issue they lamented is that one of them got kicked by easy anticheat a couple of times, but they didn't play as much as me (which would be 31hrs in PvP) I think.

I also got kicked once by the anticheat. It happened recently (2-3 days ago, not exactly sure).

    [edit]
For extra info, I've been using it mostly via Bluetooth with an USB ****le, and sometimes via USB cable (due to battery running low). No differences to be mentioned.

    [edit2]
    Rofl, it censors d0ngle.

Did you get your steam issues fixed yet? As for input mapper I have decided not too try it as some people report that it has adware/spyware

They also need to fix the deadzone on consoles. It's horrible.

At this stage I think its fair to assume that they have seen this thread and its possible they have been told not too reply to it. Maybe there is some issue as too why they dont do it, if there is one thing you can count on is that there will always be some third party solution for pc players. As for my console and other console players I feel for you that comfort in the fact that other people have the same settings.

For pc players I feel sorry for those who dont realize that their enemy using a mouse have a advantage over them if their using a controller. Might I add I dont think its ok that we need to go after secondary solutions for games infact its a embarrassing scar on the development team and their associated partners that their multi-million dollar projects are fixed by the people that support them in terms of purchasing their product.

I would go the extra mile here to get this noticed but at this stage im not going to bother, Ive already sumbitted this too techinal support.

On PC I just use Durazno to change deadzones/buttons in games I play with a controller. Pretty easy to do with their GUI version. It works with all directx games which is pretty much every game

Yeah sucks we gotta use such things to fix the issue I dont know what duranzo is however.

I mean are we meant to believe during the development process that nobody saw this issue?
