my game is still crashing constantly after the 4gb update, hoping for a fast fix!
There should be enough reports by now to at least acknowledge some of these crashes as "known issues" by Ubisoft by now :/
The problem as i mentioned many times, comes from the the list..Originally Posted by Thjorulf Go to original post
On this list the crashes , and bsod issues aren't listed.
And as i predicted (sadly) If ths list does not include this issues , we can wait forever...
And i also said that we need to force the author of that list to add oure problems onto that list...
Thats why i try to drag more and more people into this topic.
Do not misunderstand me here, i wanted this damn thing to be solved...
But sadly i told you guys , dont expect the fix if it isn't listed in this KNOWN ISSUES LIST .
If it isnt admitted as an issue , nobody gona investigate and do anything about it.
Thats what Keeba , and lot other moderators and support ubi employes try to avoid.
This is why you cant see any comments on topics related to crashes and bluescreen by them.
I sent a letter to Keeba on relase day, about a complaint agains't the known issue list.
He didn't even answered till this day...
This is the reality....
I'll do my part in keeping this thread alive. I hope they at the very least acknowledge it. That's part one. Part two will be fixing it :/
Been having the blue screen issue since the open beta. Today it's happening every 5 minutes of gameplay. Fix this ****ing game Ubisoft or give me my money back.
I have a windows 10 64 bit lap top computer, it has i7 4810 CPU @2.80x2.80 16GB of ram nvidia GTX 770 graphics card. These spec fall well within the minimum and recommended standard specs. When I try to load the game it takes almost 20 min to load the game to the start screen, once I hit the launch the game it take almost another 20 min to load the game again. The task manger shows that the game is running up near 3000 MB under the memory category. The game when it starts will play the opening scene will play at the same time I have the option menu open and during actual game play the game freezes constantly no matter what setting I have the graphic set at. I have had the blue screen as well,
Just wanted to tell i downloaded Steep for a test , and guess what that one crashing tooOriginally Posted by Thjorulf Go to original post
I guess the crashing will be a trademark from now on for UBI titles...
So avoid it if you dont want to have seem issues ...

A refund or an attempt at refund is all rather well and good, but I'd actually rather play the game I bought. What I HAVE played seemed awesome and just what I was "promised" by Ubisoft. The crashing however needs some serious attention.
I actually raked up over 5 hours gameplay in 10-20 minute sessions from all the fricking testing now. O.o
I thought i would post here my fix for the game freezing all the time, because it seems a lot of people havent seen the known issues thread. I was one of themI posted this here : http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...1#post12444601
If your game is installed on a NON OS drive and doesnt play or load, then install a 2nd copy of UPLAY on to your OS DRIVE, then UN-INSTALL GRW from your computer, THEN do a FRESH INSTALL of the game on to the OS DRIVE where you just installed the 2nd copy of UPLAY.
It is a known issue that the game will NOT play if it is on a NON OS DRIVE
Another person in this thread, said he installed it on to a EXTERNAL HDD to get it working, not the best loading times but he was able to play it, so another thing you could try.
If you dont have enough room on OS DRIVE or have access to a external HDD or cant borrow one or whatever, then, you will have to look for other alternatives like play on a friends pc or wait til a fix is implemented.
Again, this is a KNOWN issue and is in the KNOWN issues thread.
I hope this helps
Myself, i didnt realise when i was trying to problem solve the issue that it was a known issue. Thats why im trying to let you guys know.
