I just wanted to add my experiences to this thread, as I can play now after having many problems. Starting with the beta, I have had many crashes/blue screens and "game out of date" issues. Most of my blue screens popped up with either video or HD audio driver related. Usually what fixed it was uninstalling/reinstalling my nvidia video drivers (Still using 378.66, scared to update to 378.78). The last time I had a crash, afterwards the game would not stay running, saying "Game files out of date". All I did to fix it was go to my device manager, right click and uninstall my video card (did not check "delete files" option), then scanned for hardware changes and let windows reinstall the card. The game has been working for a while now.

Hopefully this might help someone, although there probably are many different problems being had here, it seems mine is always related to my video card/drivers. (Not sure why the game says its out of date, and reinstalling my video drivers fixes that... still mind boggling) Sometimes I had to uninstall/reinstall video drivers several times before it would start working again. I know it's not a permanent solution, but hopefully it will help someone to play longer than 2min before it says game out of date (if that's the problem you are having)

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1
    16GB DDR4 ram
    i3-6100 3.7GHz
    GTX 970 4GB
*running on SSD with OS/uplay/game on same drive

I'll bump this yet again for all the folks having issues. After having extensively tested EVERYTHING on my pc and replaced most of it. I finally got rid of the bug. Turns out it was a bad memory stick that eluded detection even in 5 passes of memtest86 and memtest86+. Removing that my game now works flawlessly from a technical standpoint. However... No I get the "Unable to start the game. This product cannot be activated right now. Please try again later" ..

I'm giving up soon. After my fix (ram removal) I played 2 hours no problem. After dinner start again and now this....

    Intel i7 5930K @ 4,25Ghz
    32GB Ram
    Windows 10 64Bit

    Latest AMD graphic drivers.
All other drivers are up to date as well.

Random crashes, going into lvling up menu it just crashes, music continues to run as normal. When will I learn, had exactly the same problem with the Division for quite a long time.
I am able to run the game for approx 10-15 minutes then i crashes.

I can obviously trigger this a lot faster by going in the menu. Take a look at the video I uploaded.

I think I will wait at least a year or so before buying a Ubisoft game.

    Exactly my thoughts

Exactly my thoughts here. I couldn't run the game at all with my old GPU. It would just crash after a few seconds in game.

Now I got a new graphics card (not for Wildlands) but with literally every other game I play running smooth as silk on ultra settings I thought "well, let's reinstall the uplay launcher and wildlands again and give it a shot.
Playing through the first region I had no problems whatsoever. But when I reached the "cocaine production" and that bastard of a grandson, the game now sterted to crash like after 15 to 30 minutes of gameplay.

    My system specs:

    Intel Core i5-4690K @ 3.50 GHz
    16 GB RAM
    ASUS Roc NVIDIA GTX 1080
    Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

I think this system should be able to run that game. If it was properly programmed and not rushed. This game could have been awesome. From what I experienced while the game didn't crash I would totally have a) loved it and b) would have gotten one or two friends to play with me. With the game still being technically flawed I told them not to bother.

As much as I am hyped for the upcoming Assassin's Creed (love the Egypt setting) I will wait until 2019 at least to play it. And even if the reviews are good (especially on the technical part) I will wait for any sort of discount.

Wonder why I never learn, had the same issue with The Division, but again I go and buy the darn game before I check out the comments and threads regarding issues about this game on forums. So note to self to check forums for issues before guying a game from Ubisoft. :P

all these issues with game not running long and menu crashes I had to when I updated to latest driver. I just used DDU AND REVERTED BACK TO old driver and it works flawlessly now . Dont update or your game will crash and run 5 to 10 min and crash 382.xx 381.xx 383.. all crash I used DDU REMOVED Old driver remains with safe mode and reinstalled my stable driver . NOW i have stable gaming experience.

    Same here

    Hi there,
I have the same issue of game crashing to desktop 10 to 30 minutes after playing, randomly (with or without Uplay error report) or game freezing with sound still active.
I have like most of you tried every tricks, fix, solutions without success (I will not enumerate them but you can imagine what it means trying things around for more than a month...)
    I had the crash on W7, with a GTX970.
I now still have the crash on W10 with a GTX1080Ti.
Game is install on OS disk, so is Uplay.
I have tried maybe 5 or 6 different drivers (always DDU in safe mode).

    So +1, yes.
Ubi might have received a hundred crash reports (if they receive it at all &#128513

Whatever "fix" temporarily works for some of you (kill other processes, install a 2nd Uplay on OS Disk, tweak your VRAM latency, turn of the light, run in administrator, change priority, turn on your kitchen light, say 3 times 'please' and kiss the Ubi logo at start up....) we need a PROPER fix at GAME level. This is too unstable as it is compared to many other games that size.

    MSI-H87G43
    GTX1080Ti Gaming X no OC
    I5-4670K OC 4200MHz
(also got the crash without OC)
    16GB DDR3 no OC

GAMER ENTUSIAST, TOP PC GAMER, I HAVE ONLY SEEN SEVERAL BSOD IN WILDLANDS solo & pvp

    i74790k @ 4.40, 16RAM, GTX1080Ti, SSD, Win 10 PRO.

All my games and applications running flawlessly.

The only episode that I experience BSOD is playing Wildlands solo and pvp.

Interesting, if I leave game running on solo and dont use mouse/keyboard, the game never crashes...

But, when playing, in the moment that I do fast view turns with mouse, with 10 minutes gaming, there comes the freeze, anoying buzzer sound and the BSOD, whea_uncorrectable_error or clock_watcdog_timeout.

PLEASE STOP ASKING FOR USERS CONFIGURATIONS, THE PROBLEM IS NOT OUT PC STATUS, ITS THIS GAME, ASSUME THAT !!!

I'm also CTD and even BSOD once. The crash prompts a 'Send Ubi Report'. Only playing Ghost War as I'm not interested in SP.

Comes at random intervals, don't know the cause. Didn't seem to have it in beta.

    W10 Pro X64
    8GB DDR4 RAM
    R9 390
    i7 4770 @ 4.0ghz

Nothing running but game, uplay, browser, Riva Tuner/MSI Afterburner and Asus Xonar DX audio center.
