    Game gets more annoying

There are so many things that didnt seem like an issue that are just getting more and more annoying.

    Bullet drop inconsistency
Fences...why the **** cant we get past a simple fence?
mortar strikes randomly dropping not where we asked it too
    enemies becoming bullet sponges randomly
When a co op partner gets caught they immediately know where you are
Cars blowing up when you bump the convoys once

But in the end I will deal with all that...just let me cut through a ****ing fence..we are special ops but cant get past a fence? I mean really...

    Couple other things...

Unidad randomly becomes gods...they will know where you are before you do anything.
ADV suppressor perk seems to make my damage lower can no longer one shot body with a sniper but taking off silencer brings it back to one shot capacity

Can anyone else confirm this? I haven't picked up the skill yet, but if it's so, i'd like to avoid it like the plague. That sounds horrible

I think you will find, the game is realistic. Yes, the suppressor lowers your damage, just as in real life. The suppressor controls the muzzle gases. Which would cause a drop in bullet velocity. Which in turn would lead to less knock down power at a distance.

As for bullet drop. In real life you can get inconsistent ammo, which would cause more bullet drop, in one round over another.

Okay so please just play the game before you comment about it...there is a perk that stops the damage reduction...in practice though it seems to increase the damage reduction

I have been playing it since Tuesday. What and where is this perk?

I think that is factually wrong, the large majority of suppressors actually makes the bullet velocity "very slightly" faster.

The only thing that would make the weapon have any substancial less energy, is if you changed to subsonic rounds.
Most games uses the "Silencer does less damage" model, but thats most likely for balance purposes, and not because its realistic.

Lastly, the skill Kimblee_NA is referring to is called "ADV Suppressor", and is one of the last talents in the "Weapon perks" tree.

With a lot more testing on unidad/cartel/vehicles...i do seem to do less damage. But it is not every time, there are times where a normal cartel target while silenced will go down and times where that same target will take a shot to the chest and survive(starter zone). I am going to assume its a glitch because on unidad they have even survived direct headshots from my sniper with the silencer on.

A rifle doesn't do less damage with a suppressor in real life. It also has less bullet drop and recoil.

BULLET DROP INCONSISTENCY - Is there change in elevation or precipitation you are not accounting for? Both affect bullet trajectory in a major way.

FENCES, WHY CAN'T WE GET PAST THEM - I have not had this problem yet. I am only level 14 so I am sure it will be coming assuming you have been logging more trigger time.

MORTAR STRIKES LAND RANDOMELY - This I have not noticed either. To me it would simply add to the realism. 3rd world country rebels are not renowned for their artillery effectiveness

ENEMIES ARE SPONGE BULLETS RANDOMELY - I am guessing you are talking about the difference between shooting a Cartel Member and an Army Soldier? Did you notice that the Soldiers are wearing body armor? Shooting them is the only time I have noticed a 'sponge' affect.

CO-OP PARTNERS CAUGHT TRIGGERS EVERYONE CAUGHT - This for me has been random. Sometimes I get pissed too when my buddy is scene and somehow they see me way off on the other side of the AO.

CARS BLOWING UP WHEN YOU HIT CONVOYS - This I have not noticed either.

Sounds like I have some video game endured anger headed my way
