    Somewhere deep inside Ubisoft headquarters...

Technician:"Sir the ParryTrainer9000 seems to be malfunctioning"
Dev: "Preposterous, the kensei is failproof and working as intended!!"
Technician:"No sir, you need to come take a look at this..."

The Technician then switches the channel on the security monitor to a live feed of a fight unfolding on a bridge.

"Here we observe the kensei in his natural element training his opponent to parry" The narrator continues in his soft voice. "Don't worry folks this is completely safe and that Peacekeeper is in no danger"

The camera zooms in on the unfolding battle. The Kensei's brow is furrowed in sweat as it furiously feints and attempts to unsuccesfully deceive it's opponent, while his stamina depletes quickly. Suddenly the tour bus is filled with excited voices and indistinct screaming. "Wait...somethings not right!" The narrator exclaims in horror. At this very moment the Kensei while going into his overhead cancel into side heavy; suddenly changed back to overhead unblockable.

Screams can be heard from the audience "RUN" "GET OUT OF THERE!!!" echo throughout the bus. The peacekeeper in awe of such an impressive display stands there as the Kensei's blade comes down and cut her cleanly in half. Amidst all the terror and screaming the Kensei stands there in a scene of carnage looking around apparently bewildered as everyone else and unsure of what happened.

The scene cuts back to UBISOFT headquarters, the developers face frozen in a mortified expression.
Dev: "Oh god, what have we done, how could this happen"
The technician quietly switches off the monitor, waiting for his next order.
Dev: "This can never happen again, what we saw today violates what we set out to build here, I WANT THIS FIXED TOMORROW!"

    The end.

    Thanks for the kensei nerfs...

Because parrying gets more damage results, not dodging. Dodging gives you a heavy attack and a small bleed. Parrying ends the Kensei's chain, ****s his stamina, and puts the PK in a position where she can inflict a lot more damage than if she merely side stepped into deep gouge.

Spittin wisdom for the new guys. So many pks side dodge and heavy on my 3rd hit and eat the uninterruptable that could have been negated by a parry

I main PK and usually dodge because I'm a **** parrier and it's too risky when I'm on her. I got Kensei to rep2 and learned really well how to parry him and how to look out for his feints, so parry late. Now I'm on Raider and he's like one of the few classes I don't have much trouble with.
