Who should be fired at Ubisoft, Wildlands edition.

Another day another broken launch for ubisoft and I think about the people working there and I wander how they can get away with cutting so many corners to finish this game. So i'm going to make a Donald Trump style firing list.

1: TOP PRIORITY... To the people who coded respawning. **** you... Just **** you. You know what I just love, spawning a mere 1.5 Km away from my team next to some enemies in the middle of no-where and its not just one time, its every single time I die (which is a lot because i'm playing it on the hardest difficulty) Why don't you have us just parachute in or put us right next to the person in their current position instead of dropping us anywhere its stupid having to spawn in to immediately tp to our friends.

2: People who designed vehicles... Car mechanics are really, really bad you push a button and you jolt to the left or right there's no buffering, its giving me jungle flashbacks to Far Cry 3 but the driving was much better still back then. The ARMOURED- infantry - vehicles last about 60 seconds in a gun fight they feel light with magnetic tires and for **** sake, let me repair my vehicle instead of loosing a decent car after 1 engagement. The bikes just feel wrong and you cant shoot a pistol from it (or any car) or have a person sit on the back of your bike. Helicopters are alright to fly though It really needs a hover to flying mode button for PC because it feels really clunky without it and the ******s who did not design the guns on helicopters should be fired straight away because holy cow are they bad, was the guy playing GTA IV before he coded the game! The turreted weapons needs to be stabilised because only the AI can use them, I personally think helicopters should take at least 10 seconds before they can take off (especially the ai because they can fly before they turn the vehicle on)

3: Hitboxes....yay... Straight up fire the guy who designed the Trees because he has used only 1 hitbox for it so you cant shoot through the leaves with **** weapons, you see a gap through the trees, you cant shoot through it because its like hitting solid wood, please just remove the hitbox for the top of the tree, nobody likes it.

4: AI team. These cheeky little ****ers thought the ai would be good and it is... for easy modes but as soon as it becomes a 4 hit game over, you get to see how blatantly broken they are, they all know where you are when one spots you, there is no time at all to react if a enemy spots you and the broken *** double machine gun ombre's are way too strong and accurate, have you ever shot 2 SMGs at once???... I haven't because I live in england but I know you shouldn't be pin point accurate with them. Close quarters combat is a death zone too because they can pre fire you and you cant move or do anything because you cant lean or peak them without dying first, its not fun or rewarding when I complete the missions, its just lazy and the wall cover system needs to be a bit more clingy too because i cant peak around corners if my guy (who i made look like kanye West) just runs off the wall and doesn't even peak very well, I feel sorry for the people who use controller for this game.

5: Weapon team... To be honest they have done a wonderful job with the weapons and there's just a small problem I have, Wheres the none lethal weapons? you expect me to take down someone who will shoot you on site and if aiming at you but don't give us anyway to handle that situation apart from flashbangs, I want my rubber bullets and my tasers, stun guns as pistols (because who uses them), you make us not kill civilians but what if I don't want to kill any thug that is in my way, I might just want to kill the targets and leave everyone else alive. Snipers are a funny one for me because the zoom scopes are terrible (I want my 40x scopes for my AWP) and the suppressors slows down the bullet velocity but the bullet lands in the same place? have your R&D spend millions to figure that one out for me mate....

I think this game (like all ubisoft games) has great potential but you're getting lazy with your design and you really need some new people on your team and you really need to test the game you're sending out because I was expecting none lethal in the game and was shocked when I saw you wanted me to kill everyone. so please... Sort your ****

I understand most of your points but I can't get behind your last one..... I don't know how they do it in England but most Special Forces Units don't carry 'Non Lethal' weapons/items (SAS included). This isn't a Police/Law Enforcement Game it a Military Shooter based around a Special Ops unit so I'm not expecting non lethal alternatives.

Unfortunately, so many people will blindly buy this crap which still makes it profitable for Ubisoft.

"But they're gonna patch things post release! It'll all get fixed!"

This is what people stand by. Released games shouldn't need to be fixed. Not the core mechanics. Or game/immersion breaking features.

Let's hope more and more professional reviewers continue giving Ubi games sub-80% review scores.

Also- I dare Ubisoft to abolish their review embargo's limiting review released to the day of their games release. Come on, if you think your product is fantastic, let the reviews flow a week early! After all, great reviews will push sales.

    Yeah, didn't think so.

I know but we don't exactly use micro stealth drones either but I feel like there should be a none lethal weapon in the game to put people down, I don't want to risk the mission by running up to a person who can spray me down in a second, I just feel like they want us to kill people without question. look as dishonored for example, it gave you targets and you kill them but you don't have to kill every guard between you and him, it would make no sense for an assassination job

The really sad thing is that most of these people who bought the game at release or pre-order it even before won't even be playing it any more when the patches start to trickle in, at least not for the ones that feedback was given to... they will be long gone playing something else. And those that are sticking with the game will be half way through the game, almost at the end or, if they are really masochists, on their second playthrough.

The only ones that may benefit from all of the patches that will fix all of this mess are the people playing Co-Op.

And trust me, you are better off popping a guy than trying to Melee him or perform a takedown... the cinematics are so cheesy, after the takedown, I feel like pistol whipping Dominic Butler for his vision of authenticity.
