Continue on now or wait a week?

I've really been enjoying this game thus far.

In fact, while I've already lately been meaning to buy a new PC and video card to replace my current old one, this is the game that's pushed/encouraged me to finally do so. While my current PC and video card (GeForce GTX 760) can run this game, they're really punching above their weight when I play this game at the High / Very High settings and it constantly shows.

My only problem with this is that my new PC is set to arrive by the end of next week, so how much of this game should I still play (as opposed to waiting and then experiencing the rest of the game for the first time in the smoother Very High / Ultra settings) before then?

    If I were you,

I would just play and enjoy the game until your new PC comes. I mean you're not planning on finishing the game in a week right?

    Sounds good.

Would it be best to start over once the new PC is set up or just continue from where I'll last leave off from the current PC?

Uh oh, just found out a potential problem... or is it?

I looked over the specs of the PC I ordered and everything seems to equal or exceed this game's Recommended System Requirements except for the VRAM amount of the video card.

The video card in my upcoming PC is a GeForce GTX 1060 with 3gb VRAM, whereas the Recommended System Requirements lists a minimum of a GeForce GTX 1060 with 4gb VRAM.

Will my new rig be able to run the game at the highest settings even at 1080p or will I need to turn the settings down noticeably?
