I was certain that by now the issues with connectivity would have been addressed. Why am I still losing connection or failing to connect at this point? Do you guys think that it will always be this way? This is one aspect of the game that I find unforgivable.
By the way, I'm on Verizon FIOS, so my internet service isn't the issue here. Besides it's not like I'm the only person suffering for awful connectivity in this game.
LOL! I don't think internet speed matters at this point since the game relies on another player to "host" the game (peer-to-peer networking) unless you're hosting then that's a different story.
But according to For Honor twitch stream and interviews, its not very likely that they will get a dedicated server anytime soon. That means you will keep running into Connectivity issue.
For me, who had played since the first release day, the connectivity issue has gotten worse.
Here's my speculation, It's probably due to player population drop and i'm being matched up with players in a further region.
The more devices you have synced or trying to sync together the more problems you will have.
Anyone that has any knowledge of machinery will understand this. Except Ubisoft.
I've ran upto 20 machines in sync and its almost impossible to keep them all in sync for long periods of time. Each machine could have the slightest hiccup and throw the whole system outta wack. Which reminds me of this p2p system.
