I've played Valk loooong before the patch. She only got a speed and slight damage buff. I don't know what the fuzz is about her shield bash etc. Since it's something she could do even before the patch. The highlight of relevance here is that since the patch she's gotten more attention and hence people are beggining to think she's OP. Well... she's not. And for what the OP states. Valk is not the issue there. It's actually Revenge Gear. Which is a whole other topic. I've been playing Valk on 1v1s most of my wins are due to people not being familiar against her. Other than that many times i've faced the dirt. She's fine as it is.

the reason nobody takes you seriously is that you're getting hit with the valk shield bash in the first place and it is EASILY sidestepped and punished with light attack. since that's a problem for you, everyone assumes you're just bad and missing some key elements of combat.

    so many salt....
do you ever considered of....DODGING the spear sweep ?
EVER considered DODGING the shield bash ?
those are heavily punishable , dodge them and get a free Gb,

dodge poke are unsafe on block : once block valk is stagger long enough for a free Gb,
considering she has to trick you to pull yu down
, if she knock you down theres only one guaranted heavy, or she can go for dodge light and second light and leg sweep,
but honestly once you start dodging her stuns, she's not so overpowered, truly, (i played most classes to the lvl 18, and valkyrie is NOT in the top tier, definitely not

I do not agree with you to nerf valk.

Iam close to have my valk on prestige 2 and I mainly play 1vs1/2v2, so more 1vs1 situations iam talking about...

and the good players know how to counter or dodge your moves. Its pretty hard as a valk to get through the enemies defense(if good) I just fought a Shugoki, took me ages to peel him to death...whilst he got a lucky breakthrough my defense, which cost me almost 50% of my healthpool.

she stomps the unexperienced players, I agree. But thats not an indicator for a "nerf"

She has a small healthpool and does not hit that hard. Learn to move your feet and parry lightattacks as well. Most Valks will start their chain with the lunge and top hit. Cover up.

Also unblockable my ***... Put yourself up against a Valk level3 bot and practise. Remember MOVE it´s the key to stay alive. If you´re spamming heavies don´t expect to get a single hit against a good Valk or any other character.
nice lesson, sir! Very well! But you messed up a little, when you decided to read your lecture here, because i clearly have pointed at one and only rediculous thing, revenge infinite chain with crazy punish, the thing that someone of you (hm, you?) likes to abuse.

You all are very pros, i get it. But what you said is non-relevant, guys, because it's also can be triggered with one parry and you'll go for a little ride to Valhalla with Valkyrie. Defend your character as long and as hard as you want, but i simply pointed at obvious and crazy unbalanced thing that she (and Warlord, and Conqueror) have.

I tried to give you a sight from a valk side of view. You didnt get it.

I have played valk alot in 1vs1 situations and I can surely tell you, sometimes Iam playing against people where nothing I do pulls off(or what you complain about) because they dodge, block or parry your so called "unbalanced" moves and punish me for trying that. That is my experience while playing valk.

You decide that this information is not relevant to you because its not supporting your opinion, okay...

they punished you for these moves, while you've been in revenge mode?

look, i was saying "imposible" about thing that real ****ing imposible, ok? I will say it again: once you fell, it's over for you in this situation. Yes, yes, i didn't supposed to be trapped in this chain in the first place. But all i'm saying that all this pain costs one mistake.

Why do you choose to fight someone having revenge mode up in the first place? like..."**** he has revenge mode on TIME TO BEAT HIM UP!"
If someone is on revenge, you either focus on your defense or keep your distance and sit it out.

Anyways,...revenge mode does not affect the speed of a valk's moves. Therefore, even with revenge mode, you should be able to get out of it, unless..you are stuck in a corner, which is...a different situation we would talk about because you complain about valk needs a nerf and not "valk in revenge mode and while iam stuck in a corner needs a nerf"

If valk pulled a combo on you and you lie on the ground, there are several options:
valk does top heavy to guarantee hit you, this is what she can do:
followed by a light attack WHICH YOU CAN BLOCK (or even parry) to end her moves (light attack would lead into another spearsweep when unblocked)
followed by a shieldram WHICH YOU CAN DODGE to end her moves and Guardbreak her for free (shieldram would lead into a nother spearsweep when it hits you)

These are her combos in a specific situation... they are all stopable by you. Even if she gets her hit that leads to a spearsweep, spearsweep is another breakpoint for you to stop her combo by simply dodging and guardbreak her for free.

To start a combo which you are complaining about a valk needs to do following:

hit you twice which is hard enough because her attacks are easy blocked/parried(at least the second attack is easy because predictable)

    OR

she needs to land a heavy hit(or feint it, after a guardbreak for example to land that heavy) followed by a shieldram (which you can easy dodge) and if hits, followed by a spearsweep (which you can also dodge)

I seriously dont know what you complain about...

    EDIT:
If you are talking about beeing caught in a corner and therefore unable to dodge left/right, then you are right. The valk will kill you. But is that a matter to nerf the valk? No, its a hint for you to watch out in what enviroment you get pulled into.
