    Explosives no... Exploding.

Underbarrel Grenade Launcher, Explosive Drone. For any number of unknown reasons, none of these feel like doing their job. Triggers Explosive drone, camera zooms out... aaaand nothing happens. Sometimes, it explodes after 5-10sec, often, just nothing. Same with underbarrel grenades, fires them at a good distance, yet they don't feel like doing the exploding thing, they just do... nothing. Well, that's not true, they do alert the enemies, but they don't do the one job they had to do... Did we buy duds or something? Because this junk sure ain't working.

Ive had the same issue after fast traveling into a new area or after moving very far from my original location very quickly.

    Hello,

Would it be possible to provide video footage showing this happening to you? In the meantime, I would advise running the Verify Files option. If you have the Steam version of the game try these steps.

    Hello,

@Ubi-Talos, i'll try to make a video of this and i will reply here as soon as i have the video.
Until then, the issue is very simple, it seems that every time some big action takes place in the players area all explosives shot with the under barrel grenade launcher or grenades thrown by hand are last loaded into the area.
Everything else loads gradually into the area, like textures and items, enemies and all that, and grenades always come last.

    Edit: https://youtu.be/YPwKC67i9K0 + video

Yeah, it feels like it's loading/streaming the explosives, like it's trying to "catch up" with what happened, all of the sudden it explodes, but several seconds after it hit the ground/drone explosion was triggered. Not always because a lot of stuff is going on, sometimes it happens as I'm nading a convoy. Hits the first car.... nothing happens. Convoy races way, and the a few seconds later, an explosion where the car was, when I hit it, like it has to load/stream in the explosion.

I had a similar experience last night trying to use the under-barrel launched grenades from a chopper.

I was hitting a convoy dead square but the damage just wasn't being delivered.

I had another instance where I was in a car and hit a car a considerable distance in front of me and then our car exploded killing me.

It's like the area of effect damage is being triggered a considerable amount of time later than the impact.

I have your problem, I set my game to 30fps on the cap it goes away literally instantly. While capped they will detonate 100% of the time, every time.
Interestingly enough bullets do it to over sustained fire, get an LMG with a box mag and hold the hammer down you'll see some squirrely stuff.

I've figured it's due to a CPU issue where the game on any framerate cap other than 30 will max out all cores of my 4690k while not using much of my GPU. I'm not a dev so like, I'm telling you the burger is dry it's your problem to figure out where or why you screwed up cooking it along the way.

I've tried your solution and it doesn't work, beside the fact that in 30fps is hard to play (hurts the eyes) the delay is still there

I'm sorry to hear that didn't work, although to be clear I'd never call 30fps a "solution" anyways. We're not on console.

I can Confirm that setting fps cap to 30 managed to detonate my explosives (c4 several grenades and underbarrel GL) instantly after staring at them for a long time waiting for them to blow. However... I believe that setting the cap somehow triggers some sort of speed up of mechanics as i was on the ground waiting for revive because my explosives did not go off again later and i died instantly (in spite of only just going down) when i set the 30 fps cap again. The game suffers some form of loading errors as the explosives not triggering and enemies not loading till later seem to be time based coming in after some period after doing something or reaching somewhere.
