Hello,
I have problem with my microphone (via usb) because it does not work in Uplay/Wildlands. It does work in any other games (not Uplay ones) or apps like discord/ts3. When i test the microphone in game it does not work but when i plug in my old (mini jack) microphone to the back, the old one works. It looks like the game hijacks the micro input ant force it to set as the mini jack entrance and does not take into consideration that microphone could be elswhere (usb). Steam has that figured out by adding a command in user.cfg you can make the game stop forcing the mic to be "readable" only in the mini jack input. Is there any cfg file / game parameters launch which allows the game to not force it in the one slot but reads the signal from usb headset? I'm really desperate and tired & already tried all the solutions online to no avail.

My brother and I have the same problem.
We've had the problem it in Battlefiled One as well. Works fine in Halo.
I hope that somebody has a solution.
I am having the same problem on Xbox One. My brother and I cannot talk to each other, we can see on screen that the other is talking but nothing is coming through. The game sound works just fine but no talking.
Anyone figure it out yet?
Same problem. Headset worth hundreds of $ on USB and not working. Please fix it.
Do any of you have a Razer headset by any chance?
Not sure if this means anything, but when using Skype people were able to hear me but I couldn't hear anything but silence.
I uninstalled Razer Synapse and everything worked perfectly.
My friend has a Razer headset and he can hear me but can't talk.
Try uninstall Razer Synapse if you use that type of headset and if that works please get back to me.
Thankyou. :)
I have razer kraken and micro is not working in that title as well :/
I think I found issue with Mic not working on XB1. Go to Options > Audio, scroll to voice chat mode, select "Open Mic"!
