At the very least I should be able to put a suppressor on the His AK.

I've had decent luck using a pistol when I need to be quiet. Optics are the deal breaker for me. I'd rather have the XPS or something similar inside 150m than that garbage it comes with.

Less velocity does not make bullets more likely to tumble, high velocity does, and that's only with really light and fast rounds. Sub sonic 7.62x39 mm would be more like a 9mm with better penetration. But still aside from the 7.62 Nato Mark 17, the AK has the highest damage rating of all the assault rifles. And the SMG that's more powerful isn't actually an SMG, its a pdw that uses rifle rounds that are more powerful than 5.56

Was the AK-47 not original made for cover fire and not accessories.
Think mythbusters or top Gear also tried this out on full auto to shot a Van at X feet away. missed all shots apart from the 1st couple of shots.

The Kick back on the AK-47 is Nuts i think. but that is just me.
