    Stealth Mechanics are beyond broken

Seriously the stealth in this game is really really broken.

1: NPC always detect you literally no matter what if your in a bush laying down etc... they always spot you

2: NPC always know your exact location. You shoot a bullet even though you kill the guy the others automatically know exactly where you are and start just rushing in on you.

3: NPC automatically sound alarms just because they thought they saw you. Even though you don't get detected they automatically sound the alarms and just call in unlimited spawns of reinforcement.

4: NPC magically hear our suppressed weapons. I can shoot a guy inside a building and an NPC like 70m away still hears my suppressed weapon and the whole base goes on alert.

5: NPC detecting through walls and basically any type of surface

The stealth in this game is extremely bad which doesn't make sense to me at all because Ubisoft make a bunch of stealth games like Splinter cell, assassin creed etc... so why is the stealth so broken in this game.

    1. hmm, while in the bushes NPC are having a hard time tracing me but eventually they will spot you, if you can see them then why they cant see you? stealth is not just hidding most of the time is positioning, thinking about walking pattern, exist lanes, NPC line of sight, the noise of your guns, distance between them, etc

    2. the noise of your rifle of your kill is close within 30m to 40m the will hear the sound of it, suppressor doesnt guarantee a silent kill.

    3. most NPC automatically reacts on deadbody they manage to spot it and eventually call out for an alarm, Sta Blanca is a bit forgiving, but UNIDAD detection is a bit stronger, they might not know your latest location but they will conduct a search evaluation around the area, i guess your fighting UNIDAD? they have unlimited reinforcement, basically your fighting the country military force, thats why you need to avoid fighting UNIDAD as much as possible or get away from that place immediately.

    4. Suppressor doesnt guarantee a silent kill.

    5. the sound of your footstep once you are near the NPC dont run or move to be safe, just stay put.

    Sincerely yours,
    A Jounin from Konohagakure

Please stop trying to defend the broken mechanics. They're broken mechanics for a stealth game simple as that. This game needs to play out more like Metal gear with its stealth not Just Cause/ Far Cry.

Huh ,but she is completely right, nothing is broken
stealth in MGS is way different than in GRW
u have to adapt to the situation,be like water,my friend
only thing maybe "broken" is the disappearance of corpses
we need to carry corpses outa sight, tht'l be real stealth
but thts not on ur list ,so forget it hehe
    have a good one

And there is the problem... the mechanics are just too hard or realistic for you, they're not broken. Metal Gear is just an arcade stealth shooter and ridiculous easy with totally dumb trained militaries.
In GRW they actually act like soldiers on extreme difficulty ...once they here a noise or see something they shouldn't see they turn on the alarm.
There is a small timeframe where you still can stop them and prevent turning on the alarm by killing the guy who saw or heared something.
Often it's a guy who saw something fishy like a dead body ( on realistic they don't disappear in seconds like in beta) or they see a broken alarm or open generator doors, or you hit something because you missed you target.
You have to act like a real soldier too, once they get on guard and scout for you just relocate and hide.

I can agree sometimes they see when they shouldnt and on bullet location (with silencer).. but otherwise no issues for me in your post.

Ive never been detected through a wall, closest would be someone saw me on a staircase.
Never seen/heard them sound the alarms unless something did set them off.
If you killed someone in a building and they got alerted, odds are it was a scout seeing you through a window, or you thought you had the suppressor on but you didnt. I have noticed a bug where my weapons do reset loadout wise when I come back in game on occasion.

After Aeectos reply, I have to note, I wish we could hide the bodies! I don't know why that isnt a feature honestly lol.

I hear you OP. I hear your frustration...

It's not completely broken.... it's just not very good, and wildly inconsistent! And YES does not adhere to the rules!

    Things to REMEMBER --

    1) The AI does NOT register foliage at all, which is very misleading for a game with a lot of grass and bushes. They register your stance. Going PRONE or hiding behind something SOLID are the only ways to reduce visibility.

    2) The AI does have a certain degree of 'knowing where you are' - you have to I guess accept that element, I don't know what to advise about that.

    3) This game occasionally has CHEAP spawning of Enemies -- especially during DEFEND missions.

... no don't agree, it is even too easy !

playing on Extreme, but HUD activated, as I need sync shot (which is even OVERPOWERED, as your own AI hits always and even 300+ m away and
sometimes, even without line of sight !!!

have 100 % Tactical planning, as I always use my drone etc. invested most my points into the team and drone

and have 87 % Stealth kills,
the rest is because wanted all parts for my sniper rifle, so I was in 5 star areas :-) and
had to solve fights against 5* Elite in Underground, where stealth is near impossible,
which is absolute okay, because where would you hide in a tunnel LOL

HATE THAT BODIES, vanishing too fast ,
also that own AI hits SOMETIME without line of sight !
And that OWN AI, couldn't be seen as long as you aren't detected !

    So what to say ?
Try to use your drone and binocular and invest in the silent moving skill !

When I play stealth the AI is only able to kill me every 3-4 h , but when I want to finish a map and the last side mission is missing I die 20-30 times in a hour :-)
So you see, it depends how someone plays the game , but always on extreme settings, everything else is an arcade shooter !

PS: Only played Far Cry with that Immersion Mods, so missing still some HUD settings in Wildlands

1-3 That is all true and should be improved, for the human player AND the AI

Special 3 is a joke for some Side Quests, when you play at extreme settings ...
at least the spawning inside of the Mini Map range shouldn't be possible !

    #1 you are bad

#2 Kinda a issue sometimes yes

#3 you are a idiot..Of course military is going to sound a alarm at something suspicious.

#4 They can HEAR THE BODY DROP....you have to be aware of this before u take the shot.

#5 i only had this happen in 1 time in a total of 20 hours play.
