Ghost Recon team did a better job at a sequel than the Siege team.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is closer to the series than Siege. Siege is a multiplayer shooter with the Rainbow Six name stamped on it. Ghost Recon Wildlands feels like there is a little bit from all my favorite Ghost Recon games.Thank you so much devs!

i agree GRW is a fine piece of software and i love it,one of the best GR games.
but i must admit tht the AI was better in previous GR games....
when i play solo i have to "park" them all the time,if not they will spoil the missions
the only thing they r good @ is to revive me and for sync shot (love tht skill)
but tht can be fixed in future patches and is not so annoying.
those who dont like GRW will always say nay so i say aloud i love it

    Are you trolling?
No Ghost Recon game has ever been "open world" and they've all been focused around PvP multiplayer.
Every Rainbow Six game is a multiplayer FPS with different mechanics than the previous title.

I feel like you've never played GR or R6. [redacted]

To me a sequel is something that keeps as much as it can from it predecessors and makes innovations. Pvp is still coming to the Wildlands to boot. Siege on the other hand dropped everything Rainbow Six. Doors and everything. The only thing it kept was the name "Rainbow Six." They made a lame and basic coop at the last minute and called it "Terrorist Hunt" then called their training levels a campaign.

All the good Tom Clancy games have never been "focused" around pvp. Only that Ghost Recon Phantoms f2p crap game was, and that's gone and forgotten.

Rainbow six siege is still at its core a tactical shooting game. Even if its mutiplayer only Rainbow six is still considered a tactical shooter series. Wildlands isn't really a realistic, tactical shooter but more of a mgsv/just cause messing around game. While you say all the good Tom Clancy games are never pvp focused i'll say that all the good Tom Clancy games are realistic, tactical shooters.

I don't think people understand what they did with Wildlands. I'm not playing the same game everyone is. They gave you the option to play exactly how you want it. I play on extreme, I dont upgrade "bullet sponge" skills and turned off enemy marker. Boom I got the Ghost Recon game I want. People who are not into that can play how they want. And soon pvp fans will get their part too.

I fail to see how you can say Siege is a tactical shooter. The AI is rubbish in Terrorist hunt. Sometimes they just run in one after the other like lemmings on the hardest difficulty. There is little if no tactics used in multiplayer games most just run around like its Quake.

Siege had alot of potential but it keeps the PVpers happy.
