Unable to use Drone or Binoculars. | Forums

From time to time, the game doesn't let me use Drone or Binoculars, for no obvious reason. Checked controls, but it just doesn't respond when pressing the correct keys. Dying/Fast Travel (well, with the loading times, it hardly "fast", but that's what you call it) fixes this issue, but only until next time it breaks for no reason at all.

This. THIS !. This is one of the most annoying issues in the game ! Being in the middle of a long mission and having to use a drone is crucial for those of us that invested in drone skills.

Please consider this issue with higher priority.

to fix this you have to press e and get into a vehicle or access an item to unglitch it

I have this Issue and have to tryed MANY ways to get it too stop, only way I have found that works is respawning at one of the rebel bases

I get really pissed when it happens half way through a mission where I need to use the drone.

Yeah, keeps bothering me way too much, you would think that RECONing would be important in a game called Ghost RECON... Using gear/getting into a car doesn't fix it for me, I either have to die or fast travel, and then just wait until it breaks again for no obvious reason.

ya i started having this problem the other day pushing "Z" to bring up drone nope spam it nothing happens have to fully restart my game to get it to work

Dying/Fast travel also seems to fix it, at least for a while, but can't tell why it happens, don't see it in Known Issues... Either Ubisoft isn't reading the forum, or they just don't care.

I have noticed that when this happens, Sync Shot stops working too. You try to assign a target, a teammate confirms "Moving to position" then the Sync Shot mark immediately disappears. Then at random at some point during game play when I haven't marked a "tango" I get a "Say the word, boss" as if I have just marked an enemy for Sync Shot.

Game has started crashing a lot lately.

this doesnt work all the time was coop with friends lastnight had the bug i couldn't use drone/binos died over 5+ times and fast traveled alot and was still bugged

SOO ANNOYING!!!!!!! When this S*** happens during a crucial time in a mission and I fail because of it is the most frustrating thing, spec'd into drone and even the game is against you
