    Smoke Grenades and Suppressive Fire

Hello! First off, props to an excellent game. I love what you guys have built.

Couple things: Is there suppressive fire in this game that can be enacted on the enemy? I haven't seen conclusive evidence of this yet, but am still playing around.

Also, suggestion: please add smoke grenades with the ability to use as concealment. Many times if I get into a firefight with overwhelming odds, it'd be nice to be able to lay down smoke to use as a screen to slip away or hide a flanking movement around the enemy.

    Thanks!

Suppressive fire absolutely works! I've had to ask people to stop suppressing enemies so that they'd pop their head up and I could snipe them.

If there weren't so many gung-ho cartel idiots who like to run out into the open, you'd probably see this more. But if you miss someone in the open they will usually dash for cover, and if you keep them suppressed they will keep their heads down, allowing a friend to flank or whatever.

As for smoke, yes, I've been thinking about that myself. I'd love to pop smoke to obscure a withdrawal, or to obscure an assault (thermal optics + smoke, yes).

I keep thinking how much smoke would help with those stupid radio defense rebel missions. Popping a smoke or two in the area of the radio would help obscure it from enemy fire, and since there are never any good places to dig in and we take fire from all directions it would help give us the cover we need while we fight it out for a couple minutes.

Exactly. I find myself wishing for it when I accidentally aggro Unidad *******s. They bring down a considerable amount of firepower to bear on my team and we need the advantage of smoke to move. Smoke could also be used to signal for heli dropoff from rebels. :-)
