I love playing the Elimination mode, as it can turn out as one of the most satisfying game modes in For Honor. However, I saw a lot of people turning around (like bots) in the very first second, and getting a boost before fighting. This can be really annoying. My proposal:
- Make Boosts not available from the first second, but like after 1min or something. This at least prevents players from immediately running away to get boosts before they try to fight you. And I'm sure, a lot of people are annoyed by this.
- Cap the Boosts per player, i.e. a player could be able to get a max of 1 boost per round / 4-5 boosts per match. As the boosts do not influence the final XP and Steel rewards (I guess?), there's no sense encouring people to get as many boosts as possible. With a limit, people were enforced to think about whether getting a specific boost at a specific moment is necessary or useful. This could add some strategic aspect to the Elimination mode.
