Chopper Controls: Why YOU are doing it wrong.

Everyone complains "Why do I crash into the ground when I push up on the left stick"? Here is why:

    On Xbox One:

Once you throttle up with RT, and are at desired elevation, push forward on the Left Stick to tilt forward. After several seconds, you will notice the chopper tilt down even further. This is when you need to LET GO OF THE LEFT STICK. As long as you hold the RT, you will continue to go forward. If you want to gain elevation, pull down on the left stick. you will gain elevation while maintain speed.

Stop complaining that the controls suck. Ubi's explanation of how to fly is what sucked.

    Your welcome.

yes, i figured that out quite quickly as well.

but that doesn't change the fact, that the heli mechanics are awful. there should not be that magical point, where controls suddenly change. that is not how helis work!
there are so many examples of games that do helis in a way, that is easy and fun, yet at least somewhat mimics the behaviour of real helicopters.
