    Questions Regarding Co-Op Gameplay

    Hey all!

There are some co-op game questions that I have, for which a dev or CM may be so kind to respond to:

    1. If I'm playing the Peruvian Connection pre-order bonus mission, could any player in my session be able to play that mission with me, even if they didn't pre-order the game?

    2. How is individual game progression affected if I'm playing in a friend's session? Does the game save the session owner's progress on other's characters? Adversely, does other players' progression affect the session owner's progression? My question comes from the fact that we were playing last night and my friend marked the "Yuri and Polito" mission which wasn't available to me at the time. We completed the mission without me having to gather the necessary intel to make it available to me, thus preventing me from going through that experience. As another example, let's say that my friend has completed a fair few missions more than me and I join his session. Would my map mark all the missions that he already completed? Would my progression be affected if I go on a solo session afterwards? Let's also say that he is the one who joins my session. Would either of our progressions be affected by the progression discrepancy?

This is my first ever Ghost Recon game, and I would like not to miss anything...

Your missions are still tracked individually - but other co-op teammates can choose to start a mission that you may not have, and you can agree to join it (or restart it if you've already completed it). One you've completed this in co-op, it will be marked as completed for you.

As an example, with the final release, my friend and I completed Mission 1. Another friend then joined, so we replayed Mission 1 so that he'd also have it completed. We then completed all 6 missions together, and once the group was disbanded, all of us had all 6 missions marked as completed.

So, yeah, it's possible that you can go to an area you've not explored before, and complete missions that you've not yet encountered which will remain "completed" for you in single player.

As for the Peruvian Connection - not sure on this one.

My friends and I (who also play Division & GTA together) have agreed to keep Ghost Recon for purely co-op, so we won't progress in the game if all of us aren't online. Plenty of other games to keep us occupied in times when others aren't around.

    Hey there,

Here is an overview that should be of some help in dissecting co-op: Intel: Co-op 101

As for the first question, your friends will be able to help you complete Peruvian Connection but they will not earn the progression or rewards.

    Thanks!
