I'm finding of all the tasks out there, the radio defense side-missions have their difficulty ramped up exponentially if you play the game on the hardest difficulty.
I'm fine not having the "orange blobs" which tell the direction enemies are coming from, but without any way to know which way they are coming from it is easy to get shot in the back without knowing it. This is made worse by how there the enemy may not necessarily come from the same direction in a particular play through of the mission, so you really have to watch in a 360 degrees direction.
Compounding this is the lack of health in this mode, so a handful of bullets knock you down (the health buff perks seem negligible). Plus, the AI Team mates seem more interested in reviving you then defending the radio so it gets riddled with bullets as they try and bring you back up.
I'm finding I'm constantly getting flanked or shot in the back despite setting up and taking cover since they come from all directions. At the very least, the map shows which directions enemy vehicles are coming from.
Anyone have some degree of success defending the radios on the highest difficulty?
