Hi! Its Volccis, The Noob. I have played this game for 117 hours now so I'm not pro and I'm not going to act like I'm the best player.
Alright, I started to play the game as Valkyrie as I thought it could be fun to learn complex hero but just to find that most effective tactics are just very simple moves. Pretty much all the chain abilities (ie. light + light + light etc) are useless as you can block them and therefore interrupt the chain. Not all chains can be interrupted but it really doesnt matter as good players will parry you if you continue your chain and you will get punished. Tho assassin heroes can often complete the chain as many has trouble to parry their quick attacks. Many initiative moves can be very easily countered except few heroes moves. Warlord headbutt can be countered but with certain slower heroes its really hard to when you time the headbutt right and headbutt + light attack combo is extremely easy to spam. Same goes with Conqueror shieldbash, you can also counter that and its a bit easier than Warlord's headbutt but if you are against a wall or fighting in small places its still very hard to. Then is Warden's vortex 50/50 lottery **** which I completely hate because you guess wrong and you have zero options to counter.
Peacekeeper is fine, thats how the game should be played. Quick combat which requires good reflexes and can break the super defensive players. The problem is just that currently many characters cannot stay on the ride with peacekeeper's ability to change guard stances and therefore leaving slower heroes helpless. Warlord is actually even better than Peacekeeper as it can change guard stances a bit quicker and has better defense (ie. can block all the time) while having cheesable unblockable spam ability.
After Valkyrie I started to play Shugoki which is strong character against newbies and good character to learn the game. Eventually I faced good Warlord and Peacekeeper players and I got frustrated. So I decided to try Warlord and see why its so strong and why people are saying its the best character. I know now and I have got so much rage because of spamming headbutt and here is a funny video from a twitch person raging to me because I spam headbutt :P I know its not honorable to spam headbutt and I was very unhonorable at the end. Im not defending that. However I was nice in chat, didnt insult him at all while he was *****ing my playstyle and at the end he insulted me and my parents. I'm still fine with that, he was just frustrated by the game mechanics and I used those mechanics to get an advantage. Also in the video you can see that I'm not the pro and I made stupid mistakes he punished and few times he could punish me but didnt. I still want to share this video because its funny how people can rage this much just because one ability called "HEADBUTT".
Ubisoft, change the guard stance changing times/delay with all heroes to exactly same. So no other hero has an advantage over another because it can change guard stances faster! Also do something about to spam certain abilities, give them a short delay that you cannot use them again for like 1 second. It would be cool.
Here is the video, enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7QS...ature=youtu.be
I dont know. It worked twice in the first round, after then I assumed he will do that again and he did but failed to see that he had no stamina. Like you said, he did put himself into those desperate situations and then panicked.Originally Posted by Agent Talon Go to original post
He got angry, sloppy and careless. He plays like a raging toddler, at least in that game. He was so triggered and emotional. Good way to lose.Originally Posted by Volccis Go to original post
Wow, what a hateful dude. Already saying “**** warlords” before you even hit him and at the end insulting you and your family. Your video just made me unsubscribe from his twitch.
And while you spammed headbutt a bit, it wasn’t that bad (and you got most of your damages out of other hits) and he lost due to another reason: his playing was terrible. So many whiffs, and he kept running himself out of stamina.
Also, and to quote Gemini himself at the end of the video : “It’s the attention he wants, unfortunately. Because people like that usually lacking any sort of attention from real life. You know, from their parents or… their friends, or lack thereoff. So they have to go online into video games and pretend that they’re doing something with their life “
Ow ow owsweet irony, a twitcher saying that
