Getting an error code: 30005 | Forums

I try to boot the game, and it says synchronising game files etc., but the game doesn't open. It opens two small error windows and tells me there is a "CreateFile failure" with EasyAntiCheat. This is the full error message:

I looked it up and a few have had the same issue with other games, but no solutions.

So they announced the PLAY FREE WEEKEND and I downloaded this huge file from uplay.

Now I see this error. I have tried verifying the files and it is all good. When I search online, I see unreplied threads like these or a page which says there is no solution to this problem.

Please fix this ubi. I have sent error message so many times. Definitely, not buying the game if it is broken

have you rebooted your computer?


IE Hard Reboot, shut it down and then start it not restart from windows?

I did that and it fixed itself. my issue was eac was freezing my game...but might fix it

I'm having the same issue. I've rebooted, verified the game installation. I even reinstalled the game. I have the same issue.
