If the screen tearing is too much for you then enable "Fast" v-sync through the Nvidia Control Panel. It will eliminate tearing and fix your fps chugs.

Regular Vsync cuts my FPS in half. Adaptive Vsync makes the game playable at 58-60 FPS with most settings turned to max or on high on a GTX 970. (Terrain Quality and Vegation Quality Low though because those two hog my system down a lot)

yes, i wished they would implement some graphical options there. the Blur is bad on PS4 would appreciate an Option to reduce it!!

Yep, turning on v-sync in graphics card settings doesn't lower FPS as much as turning it on in game options.
