    Enemy AI Detection

The enemy AIs are instantly detecting players and also can see through bushes. The beta was not like this at all. The beta was pretty good as far as Enemy AI detection. I played the same difficulty as well on beta and retail. Please look in to this. Just wondering if anyone else is noticing this?

I had this issue in the open Beta. I missed a shot with a suppressed sniper rifle from 290m away and in 2 seconds the guy had immediately seen me. The issue is I was prone and hidden by some grass and rock. Hopefully Ubisoft will actually do something to change this.

I have absolutely noticed different enemy AI detection from beta to this. In the beta you could alert them, but remain hidden, and have it go back to normal. Now, it seems if they are onto me, or anyone in my camp really, they are onto us all. I loved the enemy AI in beta. Kinda worrying what I have seen so far. Hopefully it was just a one, or two, or three time thing.

For me behavior is the same as in beta. If they detect a shot, they know where you are and you must relocate. As long as you relocate without them having line-of-sight you're good.

There needs to being a scaling sensitivity to the enemy AI detecting you that is based on range and darkness of ambient light. The further away you are the far less sensitive the detection should be. I have been detected in a helicopter around 500ft above enemy AI just flying past, and why is it when I'm flying the enemies heli stolen from another enemy encampment they are able to know it's not their own AI people, when everyone from the encampment where the heli was taken are dead not 2mins earlier. Another example, it's at night and I'm wearing my wookie suit knelt down next to a bush not moving about 100ft out from an enemy who is at a 90 degree angle away from me, the AI seems to almost instantly spot me on Advanced difficulty, of course I lay down real fast to stop the detection, but still that's way too sensitive. I would love to play Extreme, but the detection by the enemy AI is way too OP, it's just straight super human ESP. Please UBI Dev's, look into creating an AI detection sensitivity based off of range from them, I know there is some, but it needs way more attention to detail, and if possible ambient lighting for the detection, as well, I mean Splinter Cell even had that, which is a Ubisoft game. Speaking of which, where are the stealth knife kills and the ability to move dead bodies, that don't despawn.

i still see this issue in the full game. they see me behind bushes and in high grass from almost 10-20 meters away.

Yes detection is insanely messed up literally the second they see you and that alert bar starts filling up thats it there literally no escape at all your almost guaranteed to get detected.

If I hit the dirt or crouch in a bush it should instantly make me hidden and out of sight. Also detection is literally like 2 seconds long like you literally cant even react if your being spotted.

But this isn't really something I want to judge much at the moment until I test the detection skill thats in the skill tree. Just want to see if all that helps more. Because in beta your character felt super god like from the start even with no skill upgrades. But now it seems like you really need to upgrade your character for bigger effects.

Its just like now I dropped in and went like straight to a 5 skull difficulty district and literally just got shredded in like 1 bullet. It wasn't like this in the beta so I decided to buy some bullet resistance and it has really helped in allowing me to withstand easily and extra 2 shot or so and thats only with 2 bullet resistance upgrades. So I'm hoping the detection skill will make a difference when it comes to the stealth aspect.

The skill tree now plays a massive part of the game more then it ever did in beta. In beta the skill tree almost felt pointless at times because your character already felt crazy powerful out the gate.

    Thanks everyone

Thank you for responding. My detection did not take 2 seconds it was instant. No shots were fired.

However, the talent tree aspect response does make a valid point. Ill have to bring that up and see how it works out. I'm hoping that is whats going on.

    Lets see what happens.

Yeah the enemy AI is a bit OP in regards to detection. I'm up for a challenge, and I'm playing on the 2nd to highest difficulty, but I've been spotted way too many times when I shouldn't have. I't kind of a bummer in a game that encourages / almost requires a stealth approach.
